3:00 Doncaster Winning Race Tips (9th Sept) J2O SPRITZ SCARBROUGH STAKES (Listed Race) (CLASS 1) (2yo+)

A very nice Listed race over the minimum trip, of the twelve runners the bottom two are two year olds so get sixteen pounds or more allowance from older horses then add in the two three year olds it becomes a confusing race. Holley Shiftwell is my third top rated and im fairly sure its capable of reproducing that time, Steps is second top and that time came in 2014 but hasn't quite reached that sort of time since but we have had a fairly wet summer, top rated is MEDICEAN MAN who is only one point ahead hasn't proven its capability of doing its best time again, add to the fact they are top rated because they have had more races and are more proven so it becomes a race between them and the maybe those with improvement so any stakes would be low.

4:45 Doncaster - Another nice race here again over the minimum trip but down to class four but it looks very competitive, of the sixteen runners there are four horses that have been known to lead two of them are my joint sixth top rated and also my third top rated INNOCENTLY 16/1 so could have a good chance if it gets to the front, second top is Extrasolar but im not putting it up as a selection because it needs at least good to firm going to show its best and it might not be that dry by the time of the race, my top rated is GO NANI GO 14/1 who can track the leaders or be held up but as usual with a big field you need some degree of luck to get a clear run although this horse has been running fairly consistently and deserves to return to the winners enclosure but I will keeping my bets to a low level and doing them each way at the available prices.

5:50 Kempton - A poor class five claiming race and certainly not a race to invest in very heavily, first problem is that there's no known front runner among the ten runners, seven of the ten haven't even got a time good enough to register on my figures, looking at times from Lingfield Ocean Legend comes out third and second to Bush Warrior and both of these two might be even better with a longer trip, top spot goes to NEW LEYF 4/1 from a time over this course and distance and another that can stay a bit further and at nine years of age it has become inconsistent, so it looks like a small stake and the price isn't great but just shows how poor the opposition is.

Medicean Man 7/1 6th
Go Nani Go 33/1 Unp
Innocently 25/1 9th
New Leyf 11/2 3rd
