3:20 Redcar Racing Tip (23rd Sept) WEATHERBYS BANK FOREIGN EXCHANGE HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-70)

Seventeen runners in a poor class five race, five of them have led before and SPEND A PENNY 12/1 looks the best of those front runners in third top position and looks likely to run a decent race here if it takes to this easier course, second spot goes to Pabusar but im not sure if this one can repeat its best time recorded at Hamilton and it then followed up at Ayr in an amateur riders race so the course wont be a problem but may need to drop just a few more pounds to get back to winning ways, top place is INDASTAR 114/1 from a time recorded this year at Thirsk but it looks like most in this class of race a inconsistent animal and any stakes will be on the small side and each way at the prices.

Not bet - Soft ground.

4:55 Goodwood - There are three known front runners in this field of fourteen and as its a class four race its not that great, any bias on this course is for a low draw and Barbs Princess is drawn in stall one and a possible leader so must have a chance of making the frame, joint third top rated are Cape Xenia and another possible front runner in Deeds Not Words but this on is drawn the widest of all in stall fourteen which tempers my opinion of its chances but never say never, the bottom weight Harwood's Star is second top, I tipped this up last time out when it won and that day it carried a light weight against better horses so that bodes well but this is a step up in class but it did win nicely and shows that its in form, top spot goes to Divine Call and if its done it once then its capable of doing it again but I wouldn't want to risk too much money on this inconsistent animal. There's quite a few if's and but's in this race and maybe best left alone.

No bet - Soft ground.

5:25 Goodwood - Apprentice races always put me on the back foot when it comes to having a bet, its not only the jockey on your selection that can get into trouble others can cause you problems with their antics, there are three known front runners in the race and Alpha Delta Whiskey the most likely of them is my joint third top rated, the other joint third is Groundworker, second top is Red Invader just three pounds behind the top rated WHITECREST 14/1 but both are ridden by claiming apprentices, which that means they are less experienced so any stakes are now diminished further but im hoping a small each way stake will show a profit.

No bet - Soft ground.

6:05 Redcar - A twenty runner class six sprint which in fact is very very poor, I've got three marked down as having led before and one of them s the only horse that's done a fast enough time to register on my figures and that's GOADBY 12/1 who finished second last time out con good to soft going but if its good or better it ought to have a decent chance of leading all the way if its on the soft side I wouldn't have a clue but it think it was second last time out because of how poor the opposition was and if its better going it will go one better here.

No bet - soft ground.

8:55 Kempton - Not the best of races but maybe worth waiting for, the proverbial getting out stakes, twelve runners with four of them having led before, my third top rated Douneedahand and my second top rated BUBBLY BAILEY 5/1 are possible front runners and the latter has got the prime draw in stall one and ought to be hard to beat but I've got JOLLY RED JEANZ 16/1 as my top rated and ive got him marked down as a possible hidden danger and this looks like its best opportunity since I put my mark against its name but its only two pounds ahead of the possible leader so it could be close and I will be backing both to show a profit whichever one wins and at the prices it will have to be a win bet at 5/1 and an each way bet on the 16/1 shot.
