5:40 Wolvheampton Racing Tips (19th Sept) LADBROKES HANDICAP (Div I) (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-55)

Division one of a class six five furlong race and very few have any form at this relatively new Tapeta surface, ten runners with three having been known to lead before and Frank The Barber looks the best of those and my third top rated, second top is RAT CATCHER 12/1 a few spots behind the well weighted ARGENT TOUCH 12/1 both of them can either be held up or track the leaders, im going to back them both, to very small stakes because although the selection is a few spots ahead its got a poor draw in stall seven while my second top rated is in stall two so could follow Frank The Barber drawn in stall one and get a good early position just behind the leader against the rail which can save quite a bit of ground when going round the bend at the prices I can do them both each way.

6:10 Wolverhampton — Only nine runners in the second division of the race but im not sure what will set the pace as there doesn't look to be any known front runners but Honeymoon Express has taken up the leaders role before but its got the worst of the draw here but I have no other candidate, once again im going with two horses in the race but also once again very small stakes, IMJIN RIVER 12/1 is my second top rated but its got stall one so it could possibly make use of the draw and if not actually lead the race it should be able to get a good early position against the rail, PASSIONADA 7/2 is my top rated and this one likes to track the pace and from stall eight it could follow Honeymoon Express across to the rail and also get a good position, so im backing the latter for the win only and the former each way at the odds to profit whichever one does the job.

6:40 Wolverhampton - Six furlongs but up to class five with twelve runners and of those there is five that have been known to lead and four of them are my top four ratings, Indian Affair is fourth top and best drawn in stall one, my third top is Bosham but drawn in stall ten, second top is You're Cool from stall five whilst top rated is SMIDGEN 7/1 from stall seven, I always like it when the top weighted horse is also the top speed figure, shows its got both the speed and the class to handle the opposition although looking at its latest results doesn't inspire much confidence it has also dropped from its last few runs in class four down in class against weaker opposition, I will be backing the top rated to win the race hoping it can get a clear run and although it can lead if needs be it can also be ridden in other ways to achieve the same level of results.

SUMMARY: The new surface here is in real terms only been down for a short while and there's still lots of horses that haven't run on it and although I've analysed the three sprints the amount of data on some horses is scarce and in some cases zero, which makes all my work a little exposed to horses that have no form on the surface, especially the three year olds. The all weather racing will settle down when the flat season ends and the more data I collate the better the results should be, so at the moment any bets at this course should be kept to the very bare minimum.
