3:15 Ayr Winning Race Tips (8th Oct) BACARDI HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-65)

1 — Saxonette is my joint fourth top rated but six furlongs stretches its stamina but Ayr is a flat course and quite easy so its best time from Hamilton might be improved a little but its only win at this distance was relatively slow so its not for me.

2 — Supersta may prefer a longer distance and isn't on my radar as the being the likely winner.

3 — Sea Of Green is a three year old that may need further to show its best so I doubt it will win this.

4 — Signoret is another three year old but this one could possibly be the pace setter so if it got an easy lead could be a hidden danger so cant be dismissed lightly but its not for me.

5 — Goninodaethat is another possible front runner but might find this distance too short so may not be fast enough to get to the front and omitted from my idea of the winner.

6 — Monel will like it if the going has some soft in the description and is usually held up but if the going is good or firmer I doubt it will catch the leaders.

7 — Euxton a three year old so possible improvement but I'll stay with the proven times.

8 — Keene's Pointe is my joint second top rated but may be better over even further so ought to be staying on strongly at the finish and could make the frame.

9 — Feel The Heat is my other joint fourth top rated and is versatile with its running style and could be prominent early and could make the frame if others don't run to their best.

10 — Captain Scooby may prefer some cut in the ground to show its best and its not in my top five.

11 — Poppy In The Wind another three year old but I think this one might do better back over five furlongs.

12 — Tarando join second top on my figures from a time at Hamilton and is the most likely one that I've got marked down to reproduce its best times, so should have at least a chance of making the frame and could even win the race.

13— Catwilldo may find this distance too far from its form in Ireland and needs to show it can handle this distance before it would interest me.

14 — Diatomic won last time out at Carlisle but on good to soft ground but it does handle good or firmer going so has to be respected as my top rated and could win again here and it is my top rated and a possible front runner.

SUMMARY: The selection, DIATOMIC 12/1 won on good to soft ground last time out where it was prominent from the start and it can lead and if it gets to the front here it has a very good chance of visiting the winners enclosure again and I will be backing it if the going isnt any worse than the good what their predicting and at a quarter of the odds a place I will be doing it each way but I will also be watching the earlier races to see for myself what that the going is like.

Diatomic 12/1 6th
