3:25 York Winning Race Tips (10th Oct) CORAL SPRINT TROPHY (Handicap) (CLASS 2) (3yo+ 0-105)

Twenty runners isn't going to make this an easy race to sort out but I think I've found an edge, there's only two horses that are known to lead Red Pike who isn't in my top eight rated and its drawn in stall fourteen the other front runner is Blaine drawn in stall nine who is my second top rated but that was from a time in 2014 on good to firm ground and this year its form has been dismal and if it needs firmer ground to show its best that might not happen here, Foxtrot Romeo is well weighted to come out fourth best and my third top rated is Lexington Abbey but top spot goes to GEORGE BOWEN 7/1 a three year old who still seems on the up and from the strong Richard Fahey stable and has a more than capable three pound claiming apprentice, Jack Garritty on board to help its chances even more and drawn in stall twelve so should be able to go whichever side of the course looks to have the advantage and can be ridden prominently or be held up and with a clear run must have a good chance so im not surprised its the favourite but still a nice price.

No bet - Soft ground.

5:00 Newmarket - Nineteen runners this time so not any easier to solve in fact with eleven of the runners being three year olds its nigh on impossible to pin it down to one selection and I'm not going to try. There's only one horse that has been known to lead before and that's Terror a three year old who might not want the going to be firm but with an uncontested lead it could turn out to be a danger but I as always stick with the proven form, I've got Holley Shiftwell as my fifth top rated from a time recorded at Newmarket, joint third top are the two three year olds Mistrusting who may need a longer trip and STROLL PATROL 11/1 who I've marked as a hidden danger, it will need to improve a few pounds to win this but that's quite feasible with these youngsters, second top rated is DIVINE 14/1 who usually likes to track the leaders and cant be discounted but top spot goes to MINALISA 33/1 from a time recorded in 2014 at Salisbury but has hadn't come to form this year yet but has only had four runs so also cant be discounted. Its a race where i'll have small each way stakes on all three to hopefully show a profit but I wouldn't blame anyone for leaving the race alone.

No bet - Soft ground.

5:30 Chelmsford - Nine of the eleven runners haven't got any form either at this course or over course and distance and with six three year olds there could be some hidden dangers, I've got GOLD BEAU 11/2 as my second top which won last time out and the stable seems keen to run it again whilst its in form as it was my selection but the rain came and it was withdrawn it is a few spots behind SWISS CROSS 4/1 but im only going to have a small bet on each and hope nothing improves out of the blue.

9:10 Chelmsford - 10 Nearly the same here with only three of the field of fourteen having any form on this course so any bet would be a bit riskier than I usually like, the funny, or not, thing is that all of the three that have got some form all like to lead so it could be a fast race and anything that doesn't stay the sixth furlong will be exposed and I have got three, Oil Strike, Pancake Day and Novabridge marked down as maybe suspect at liking the distance, I've got Beau Amadeus as my third top rated and its drawn in stall eight, Amenable is second top and from stall thirteen whilst my top rated MARY ANN BUGG 7/1 is drawn widest of all in stall fourteen and im quite sure if it had a better draw the price would be much shorter but if it can get a good early position it does have a few spots in hand of the second and third top rated and being a three year old it could even improve but with the potential of some hidden dangers stakes will be kept low.

Gold Beau 16/1 3rd
Swiss Cross 4/1 7th
May Ann Bugg 7/1 Unp
