—Burning Thread usually likes to track the leaders and comes out sixth on my figures.
—Showtime Star may find this distance too short so needs to be prominent but isn't in my top six.
—Oscars Journey is my eighth top rated and likes to track the leaders.
—Ladweb did a time at Ayr to make it my joint second top rated so if it can reproduce that on this course it could make the frame and with the apprentice rider taking three pounds off it could go well and also likes to track the leaders.
—Jacobs Pillow is a possible front runner and could either be a hidden danger or will find the trip too short.
—Indian Tinker did its best time at Ripon and it was good enough to make it the top rated which is surprising as it doesn't really like firm ground and has been running fairly consistently lately but without winning and should be at least a good each way chance if the price permits.
—Whitecrest is my second top rated and this one likes a fast pace too aim at so those ahead of it are tiring not completely sure it will get that fast pace here.
—King Crimson is only other known possible front runner and it could get its own way in front and that makes it very dangerous and I cant dismiss its chances.
—Dark Profit may find this distance too short and has quite poor form on grass.
—Pour La Victoire is another that might prefer further and may get outpaced.
—Perfect Pastime looks another that needs further and may not go the early pace.
—Pabusar is my fifth top rated from a time this year but may not be good enough to make the frame unless others don't shine.
—Noverre To Go is another that needs a sixth furlong and may be outpaced.
—Zuzinia has a best time that would even at the weights make it seventh best.
SUMMARY: To me it looks like this race, ratings wise, in looking for the winner concerns four horses, both LADWEB 7/1 and Whitecrest who are my joint second top rated are being ridden by apprentices, Ladwebs apprentice is the top rider for the stable which is in good form and has a decent record at this course, Whitecrest needs a fast pace to aim at and might not get that here and also the stable is well out of form lately so i'll leave this one out and hope im right, KING CRIMSON 20/1 comes from the Mick Channon stable and this one could attempt to steal the race from the front and if others are not careful it just might do that so its on my possible winner list and at the price I will have an each way bet mainly because I think its some value. My original top rated is INDIAN TINKER 7/1 but drops to third when taking in the apprentices allowances and the stable hasn't had a winner in the last five years at this course and this ones apprentice takes it back to the top spot and has ridden one winner from three rides so cloudy's the picture but I think the way to go will be to back Ladweb and King Crimson and maybe use Indian Tinker as a saver bet having enough to cover the other two bets just in case it breaks the trainers duck at this course.
