12:35 Lingfield Winning Racing Tips (19th Dec) UNIBET OFFER DAILY JOCKEY & TRAINER SPECIALS HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-70)

1—Temple Road third best on my figures after winning its last two races both here and at Wolverhampton but the handicapper might have now caught up with it but is the form horse at the moment so should run another big race.

2—Ask The Guru not in my top three despite being a possible front runner and would need to improve a few pounds, if others run to their best, to win this.

3—Picansort finished fourth last time out at this course and distance against the top horse but didnt show its true form then and is now eight pounds better off, so if it reproduces its best time it comes out top rated but not by much and would be the selection if the second top rated wasnt being ridden by a claiming apprentice.

4—Billy Red is another possible front runner and looking from the draw perspective its got the best of it in stall three as the other two possible leaders are in stalls six and seven and at its best this horse comes out just a few spots behind the selection in second place but its being ridden by a good three pound claiming apprentice which moves it to top spot.

5—Zipedeedodah is a possible front running three year old so could have some improvement to come but would need to improve a few pounds to win this race and I doubt it will be able to lead.

6—Ohsosecret the second three year old in the race but its recorded time at this course and distance is very slow and looks to have a hard task against some of these.

7—Snow King looks like it may prefer a longer trip than this and its all weather form is quite poor so I doubt it will get involved here.

SUMMARY: A tricky little class five race to work out, the most likely leader looks like being BILLY RED 16/1 and is my original second top rated but moves to top spot when you take the three pounds off its original weight and with an uncontested lead could save some energy to repel the late challengers, Picansort is my original official top rated and if it came back to its very best could run on strongly at the finish close home and of course the horse that's in great form is Temple Road and I do think the winner ought to come from one of these three, I expect the top horse will be favourite and I would take it on with my top two if there's any value in the prices.

PS: After seeing the prices with Temple Road as expected a short priced, 13/8, favourite I will now be having an each way bet on Billy Red and hope it can pinch the race from the front but it will be a small bet.

Billy Red 16/1 Unp
