12:40 Wolverhampton Winning Race Tips (22nd Dec) DOWNLOAD THE NEW UNIBET RACING APP HANDICAP (Tapeta) (CLASS 4) (3yo+ 0-85)

This looks a nice class four event with eleven runners and five have them have been known to lead before and I've got four horses with no form at this course and distance marked down as possible hidden dangers which makes it hard to be confident of the result but I will as usual go with those with the top ratings, Seve could be the one to perform best of the hidden dangers as its a front running type and has been drawn in stall one so it could make a bold bid to lead all the way, Red Stripes is my third top rated and one of the possible front runners but will need a degree of luck being drawn in stall ten, second top is Doctor Parkes who can be held up or track the leaders but top spot goes to Pensax Lad drawn in stall three so hoping it can get good early position from which to stay on strongly at the finish.

3:30 Southwell - This is a poor class six race with eleven runners and two known possible leaders and ive marked them both Divertimenti and Kuanyao as maybe hidden dangers and this race wont take much winning and if either gets things their own way in front could steal the race from the front, I've also marked McCarthy Mor as a possible danger but stall eleven isn't going to help its cause in this race, the only horse I've got with a recorded time on my graphs is Fortinbrass and isn't the model of consistency but if it reproduced its best it could win this poor affair but any? Stakes would be on the low side.

SUMMARY: Two sprints today but any bets will be on the low side, PENSAX LAD 9/2 has a few spots in hand but will need a bit of luck to get a clear run especially being drawn in stall three with front runners in stalls one and four and three others drawn wider plus I've got marked four possible hidden dangers which tempers any confidence. The second sprint is a dire affair with only one horse, FORTINBRASS 7/4 having done a time fast enough to make my figures, consistency is also missing from most of the runners and also add in a pair of hidden dangers and this race will also be confined to a small bet but even I wasn't expecting it to be such a short price and in my mind its not worth a bet at that price but if its drifts it could be, so a case of waiting to see.

PS: I've got two favourites as the selections and my idea will be to do Pensax Lad as a single bet and then put it in a small double with Fortinbrass and just hope for the best.

Pensax Lad 5/1 2nd
Fortinbrass 7/4 2nd
