3:50 Southwell Winning Racing Tips (9th February) UNIBET OFFER DAILY JOCKEY/TRAINER SPECIALS HANDICAP (CLASS 4) (4yo+ 0-85)

1—Captain Lars who hasn't any course and distance form maybe the highest officially rated but this distance looks too short for it to show its best and I'm doubting it will be a super fast run race so shouldn't play into its stamina.

2—Sir Billy Wright has format this course over five furlongs but hasn't tried this distance here but I think it may need to be held up to stay this far.

3—Showtime Star is my second top rated and usually tracks the leaders, its nest time was recorded in 2014 and hasn't had many chances since under these conditions but should make the frame if running to its best.

4—Among Angels also has no runs at this course and distance and I've got it marked down as either wanting further or a possibly improve but looking at its overall times I'm leaning more to it wanting further to show its best.

5—Guishan is a front running type and isn't badly housed in stall three, its best time was recorded in 2014 which puts it in as my top rated but hasn't had a run on these conditions since but has shown elsewhere that its still capable of winning a race like this.

6—Clubland hasn't only recorded relatively slow times over this course and distance before and I cant see why that should change here.

7—Billyoakes hasn't run on this surface before and hasn't run very well anywhere else lately and I doubt this run will be any different.

8—Addictive Dream has been woefully out of form lately and I'm firstly not sure if it will like this surface and secondly I'm not sure it will stay this distance.

SUMMARY: Actually not a great race for a class four and I cant see many getting involved in the battle for first place, Among Angels could spring a surprise but the race may not be run to suit it, I'm hoping the selection GUISHAN 7/1 can go straight to the front from stall three and set its own pace and then kick in the straight for an all the way win, the trainer does quite well at this course and all the statistics and jockey booking etc concerning the horse points to them expecting a big run.

Guishan 8/1 6th
