— Air Of York hasn't run at this course and distance but it could be a bit of a hidden danger here and cant be dismissed easily.
— Stake Acclaim also hasn't run before at this course and distance but it looks to me it will prefer a slower surface like Southwell to show its best on an all weather course.
— Plucky Dip may prefer a longer distance to show its very best but is still fourth on my list so should be staying on at the finish.
— Trojan Rocket recorded its best time for this course and distance in 2014 but hasn't run here since, it likes to either lead or track the leaders and has a decent draw in stall three if it decides it wants to lead and is my third top rated.
— Clubland usually likes to track the leaders but hasn't run over this course and distance but I think it might prefer a slower surface.
— Captain Lars has been known to lead but is only fifth top on my figures and stall eight isn't going to help its cause here.
— Oriental Relation is a possible leader and in stall two has the best draw of the leading types and could prove hard to beat if it gets control on the rails especially as its my joint top rated.
— Greyfriarschorista likes to track the leaders but may find things a bit too quick here as it looks to need a longer trip to show its best.
— Borough Boy is another that looks to want further and its times over this course and distance have been quite slow.
— Mighty Zip has been drawn out it stall nine so doubt it will be able to get to the front but it could be a hidden danger if it does get to the front.
— Rich Again I'm not sure what its best distance is despite it being a hold up horse its ran on strongly at all distances from five to seven furlongs but could maybe be a danger.
— Mezmaar is weighted to be my other joint top rated and won nicely last time out three weeks ago at this course and distance which shows its fitness and ought to have a chance of winning.
SUMMARY: There's three possibly hidden dangers in the field which has to temper any confidence but as usual i'll go with the proven, if ORIENTAL RELATION 12/1 gets to lead on the rails from its stall two draw it could prove hard to catch but MEZMAAR 6/1 has shown its in form and likes to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish and has to have a chance as long as it gets a clear run throughout the race.
