2:20 Souhthwell Winning Race Tips (22nd March) UNIBET OFFER DAILY JOCKEY & TRAINER SPECIALS HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (4yo+ 0-58)

Quite an intriguing class six race over the straight five furlongs course and of the twelve runners there's only two that are known to have led before to win races, Robbian would probably only lead if nothing else wanted to but Under Approval looks a more natural front runner but neither of them are in my top five so doubt they can pinch the race from the front, Imjin River is my third top rated and Fuel Injection my second top rated and both must have a chance of at least making the frame if they run to their best but I've got the top weighted MONSIEUR JAMIE 7/2 marked down as my top rated and it proved its form when winning last time out over this course and distance, I tipped it up that day and it has a good chance of winning again before the handicapper can reassess its mark and they have kept the winning jockey on board instead of going down the route of using an apprentice to take the extra weight off again, which I think points to them running it again quickly and expecting another big run from the horse and its best time would be enough to see them all off.

4:30 Southwell - Ten runners in this race but once again only two known front runners, Spowarticus really prefers a faster surface to show its best but is fifth on my figures but quite a few spots behind the top rated, Viva Verglas is mt third top rated and this one usually likes to track the leaders while in second spot is Lackaday and it set its fastest time on its last run of 2015 while still a three year old when finishing second at this course and distance, it has had one run this year two weeks ago at Wolverhampton where it ran well and finished second again and I expect it to be sharper for that run but top spot goes to SIR GEOFFREY 12/1 who also won last time out when leading all the way and from stall five and not an abundance of fast starting types it must have a chance to get to the front again here and hopefully stave off any late challengers.

Monsieur Jamie 7/2 5th
Sir Geoffrey 12/1 1st
