5:50 Southwell Winning Racing Tips (16th March) DAILY UNIBET EARLY PRICES FROM 9AM HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (4yo+ 0-60)

An eight runner race but there's no confirmed front runner among them which makes the race that bit harder to analyse but I think I've got an angle for how the race might, well hopefully might, pan out. Spitfire is my third top rated and can either be held up or track the leaders and I've got a feeling from stall seven it might be held up but not too far back in the field, second top rated is the top weight Harwood's Star who is housed in stall one but this one has spurned the opportunity to lead when well drawn before so I'm thinking that if this one is pushed to the front it is either just to give it a run or as spoiling tactics to others but I'm hoping connections decide to either hold it up or track the leaders as usual, my top rated is FORTINBRASS 7/1 and this one is drawn in stall Southwellwo and I'm hoping this one is the one that grabs control of the rails and then kicks for home in the straight and keeps enough in reserve to foil all challengers, it had run three decent races over this course and distance in a row and then went to Wolverhampton where it didn't run that well and then it came back here where it couldn't get to the front so tracked the pace but it was a slower pace than usual and the race had become tactical which didn't suit but hopefully today will see it back to its best.

9:10 Kempton - Eleven runners of which four are front running types, Honcho could be a bit of a hidden danger in a race where it can get to the front but from stall eleven here I think it might struggle but none of the four possible leaders are drawn very well but it could make the shape of the race, Chetan is drawn in stall seven and is my fourth top rated, whilst my third top rated is Gold Beau from stall five and this is the nearest to the rails of the known pace setters, I've got joint top rated and Nasri usually likes to track the leaders but its drawn in stall six, slap bang in the middle of where the early pace is, so it could be denied a clear run early on and then would probably have to come wide to try and catch the leaders, my other joint top rated is RIGOLLETO 4/1 in stall eight and also being the other front runner im hoping this one can either get to the front or be very prominent without being taken wide and then either kick on from the front to steal the race or stay on strongly for the win. The way the race is made up with the early paced horses being drawn in stalls five, seven, eight and eleven I can see all the rest of the field having problems trying to get a clear run and I think the race will be won from the front.
