(FREEBIE) From the field of seventeen I've only got six that have recorded a time fast enough to register on my charts and I've not marked anything else as potential dangers, plus the two known front runners are in that six so I'll just go through the top half dozen:
1—Swendab recorded its best time last year at Salisbury but hasn't been in that level of form yet this year but is one of the two front-runners but it's only fifth on my figures carrying topweight but only by four pounds from the top rated. It's being ridden by a good five pound claiming apprentice which would take it the top spot by one pound.
2—Indian Affair only comes out sixth but has shown itself to be in good form this year and usually likes to track the pace setters, although the stable does use this jockey to good effect but I think they may find some of these too good for it at the weights.
5—Mambo Spirit is my original fourth top rated but only two pounds off my top rated but has a good three pound claiming apprentice riding which moves it up to top spot and this horse can either track the leaders or be held up, it's been known to spring back to form without warning before but would need others to under-perform to win this race.
14—Summersault is my original joint top rated but has a five pound claiming jockette riding and that moves it to clear top spot, it's the other horse in the field that has been known to front run and has every chance to do so again here, this horse has only had six runs in total and has won two of them and both times it was ridden by a female jockey including last time out at Windsor seven days ago which proves its well-being.
16—Consistant comes out third best but has no apprentice riding so drops down a little but they are all very closely handicapped, it usually likes to track the leaders but may struggle to do that from stall one as that's not where the early pace is expected to come from and the bias also favours those drawn high.
17—Mad Endeavour is originally the other joint top rated and it's being ridden by a good three-pound claimer so still keeping it in second top spot (I think it's that close) this one is well weighted in its best form but I think its even better over further so ought to be staying on strongly at the finish and if those up the front falter this could be the one to capitalise.
SUMMARY: I'm expecting Swendab and Summersault from stalls fourteen and thirteen to set the early pace and as long as they don't go off too fast they ought to make it hard for the others to catch them but only just and I think the weight will swing things in the favour of SUMMERSAULT 11/2 and any of the other five could fill the places if running to their best.
