9:10 Chelmsford (1st September) FOLLOW @CHELMSFORDCRC ON TWITTER HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-65) Winner £3,235 14 runners 6f Standard ATR

(FREEBIE) - Not a very good race and the majority have had none or only one run at this course so could be virtually anything and therefore possible dangers so stakes will be low. One I do think could definitely be a danger is the handicap debutante Vale Of Flight, I've got no idea which horse will set the early pace which doesn't help get a concept of how the race might be run, I've got Honcho a hold up type down as third best but stall fourteen isn't ideal, Encapsulated is second top rated and stall five is okay but top rated by a few spots is SWISS CROSS 8/1 who at nine years old is still capable of winning races which it did last time out and I quite expect a repeat here where it's giving weight to inferior rivals and they have employed a good three pound claiming apprentice to help their cause.
