Ontoawinner, racing syndicate, simon bridge,
A strange race with nine runners only Upstaging my second top rated and Ebony N Ivory have been known to lead before but Upstaging only usually leads if nothing else wants to and the latter may need softer ground to show it best so may not be able to lead if its good or firmer going, I'm fairly sure the bottom weight Frenchman needs further to be competitive so if its good or better ground and would be a lay if the price permits but soft ground would eradicate the negative against this horse so then it wouldn't be a lay, another lay would be Princess Kodia who looks much better over a shorter trip so if there's a fast enough early pace then it wouldn't have the stamina to be competitive. Soaring Spirits is third top rated and should be staying on at the finish if there's a fast early but maybe wouldn't like to slow pace as it would then get outpaced near the finish, ART COLLECTION 7/1 is only a three year old but has already done enough to be the top rated here but this one doesn't want the going to be too firm but genuinely good ground would suit it nicely but if its on the soft side of things then all bets are off.

BRIGHTON 5.05 - Seven runners over the minimum trip, the two at the foot of the handicap, Monsieur Jamie and Time Medicean both prefer some cut in the going so if good or firmer they would be lays in my eyes any softness and I would leave them both alone, I'm not sure what will lead but the make-up of the race doesn't look like suiting my third top rated Whitecrest, Indian Tinker is second top just two pounds behind the three year old NOBLE ACT 3/1 and a repeat of its time recorded at Leicester would be good enough to win this but it also may not be suited if the race is run at a slower early pace so any stakes will be kept to a minimum.

WOLVERHAMPTON 7.55  - Class four race with nine runners with three known front runners and they are all in my four ratings, Desert Strike is fourth top and a front running type, Oriental Relation is joint second top rated and is versatile with its running style and that includes leading but hes got the best of the draw of those three in stall three, Rich Again is the other joint second top rated and might be the one to prosper if they go too fast up front and fade near the finish but top spot goes to RED STRIPES 16/1 who from stall five can either sit just behind or besides the other front runner and could even get to the front and if doing so will be hard to catch for most of these and at the price I have to go with an each way wager, I have got the top weight marked down as a possible danger then Kestrel Call who may want a slower surface or further and would be a possible lay along with Noble Asset who has only shown poor form for quite a while now and cant see that changing here.
