Storm Trooper hasn't any surface form and usually races prominently. Not for me.

Horsforth races prominently. He could have place claims if at its best.

GROUNDWORKER is top rated on times recorded here. He must have a decent chance to follow up.

Cruise Tothelimit 0-10 on the all-weather.

Co-top rated on Wolverhampton times, Poppy In The Wind may prefer a slower surface and a lay in my eyes.

Searanger has a fast time from 2015 but nowhere near that level this year so not for me.

Ambitious Icarus may prefer a longer trip but has no surface form.

Tavener also may need further. 0-9 on all-weather tracks doesn't inspire.

Young Tiger is second best at this course times so has place claims.

Fuel Injection co-top rated on Wolverhampton times. May need a slower surface to show his best.

Hit The Lights is a possible front runner. However, 0-10 on the all-weather courses gives concern.

On Wolverhampton times, Emerald Bay is the third co-fastest, This possible front-runner has a chance.

Men United may be able to improve. He's versatile with running style. Not sure either way.

Slim Chance is 0 -10 on the all-weather. in addition, poor recent form. He may need further to show its best

SUMMARY: A fourteen runner race. Of the possible pace setters three-year-old Emerald Bay could go well. The selection has to be GROUNDWORKER 3/1 who has every chance here to follow up his win last time out over this course and distance. This gelding could get a good tow in the race being in the stall next to the one I think might try to make it all. To be honest, I'm not happy backing a 3/1 shot in a large handicap. However, the times are what count. I'm not going to go with something else for the sake of it.

Groundworker 3/1 Unp
