12:30 Southwell Winning Racing Tips (13th Dec) BETWAY HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+ 0-75)

Sprint king, horse racing, horse racing news,
This is a nice looking class 5 race but it looks one to step carefully with as there's 3 possible pace setters and also 4 that could be able to improve on what hey have shown before, Vroom won very nicely last time out over this course and distance and has been known to lead before so stall 1 is an ideal draw but it was a slowish time that day and it may struggle now stepped up in class, Extortion is a 3 year old that could be capable of improving, Personal Touch and Satchville Flyer are the other 2 that have been known to lead and could be potential hidden dangers and capable of better, Clubland is my 2nd top rated and usually races prominently so its draw in stall 11 certainly isn't going to help its cause, my top rated is HARWOOD'S STAR 11/1 who hasn't been at its best lately but does look to save its best for this course so I'm hoping the return here will rejuvenate it enough to return to the winners enclosure and luckily the price allows for me to suggest going with an each way wager but with the possible dangers stakes will be kept low.

Harwood's Star 33/1 2nd

2:30 Southwell - Another race with 4 that look as though they might have some improvement to come, there's 8 of the 14 runners that have been known to lead before so I expect it to be a fast run race for the class which is just what my selection needs, Powerful Wind comes out 2nd top using its 2015 time but drops to 4th spot using this years times, Red Stripes moves into 3rd spot if you take off the jockeys 7lb allowance but he's only ridden 1 winner from 27 rides for the stable so it's not a definite positive to use him, Crosse Fire is my 2nd top rated and usually likes to track the leaders the jockey booking isn't a positive as he's had 168 rides but only 3 winners but top spot goes to ELUSIVITY 9/1 who can be held up or track the leaders and ought to be able to get a good position from which to attack as the race unfolds and set a very fast pace here 2 runs ago when fading into 9th but beaten less than 5 lengths and a repeat of that would be enough to win this race but with the possible dangers stakes once again have to be kept on the low side of things and with this race paying a quarter the odds a place it's worth going with a smallish each way bet.
