Desert Strike versatile with its running style but stall 11 isn't any help but could make the frame if running to its best.
Valmina usually likes to race prominently but its course and distance time is relatively quite slow and will need to improve to win this race.
Colourbearer has recorded a fast time on this surface elsewhere so ought to be able to make the frame but way below that time here so I need to be convinced about its form here.
Sehayli is a 3-year-old but it might need further before it's going to show its best form but its times over 7 furlongs have been slowish, so a possible lay.
Last Star Falling has only produced slow times, may want further and also a slower surface so in my opinion this one should be layed if there's any value in doing so.
Triple Dream could be the one to set the pace from stall 1 and its best time here makes it 3rd top so may stay ahead long enough to make the frame.
Bridge Builder has led before but stall 10 isn't ideal and it looks to want further also its times on this surface have been on the slow side of things.
New Rich is usually held up but if getting a clear run from stall 7 will have something to aim at and hopefully finish the strongest being my top rated. Firesnake has only got a slow time on this surface and may need a longer trip to show its best so a possible lay iff the price allows.
Pharoh Jake comes out 4th best on my times but may need further to record relatively faster times but should be staying on but maybe not quickly enough.
Royal Rettie did its best time at Chelmsford but that was only good enough for 4th best so it could make the frame but stall 12 could be its undoing.
Tavener looks to be a much better proposition over a shorter distance and another that I would be willing to lay if any value.
SUMMARY: I expect Desert Strike to set the pace from stall 1 and then maybe not many will be able to get involved as its 3rd best on one set of figures and 2nd on the other, Colourbearer could be one that might make the frame if getting a clear run but top rated NEW RICH 8/1 has a good chance here to come from off the pace and get back to winning ways.
New Rich 8/1 3rd
7:10 Kempton - A hard race to analyse properly with 8 of the 11 runners being 3-year-olds, 2 of the 3 the known pace setting types have negatives against their names so maybe Evening Starlight could possibly get to the front but stall 11 surely isn't ideal but it is a 3-year-old so could improve, if it doesn't get to lead it might find itself upsides of Jumeirah Star from stall 6, I've got 2 horses using either this course times only or all times on this surface, CAMDORA 11/2 comes out top on a time from Chelmsford and can either track the pace setters or be held up and from stall 4 it might find the stall 6 horse coming across and taking its ground but it could still then stay on at the finish, the other top rated horse is EQUNETTE 9/1 a 3 year old coming out of stall 8 and this one usually races prominently just off the front and could follow the possible leader across to the rails and get a good prominent early position from which to stay strongly at the finish. I do think the latter has the better draw the way the race is made up but I will be backing both of them to show a profit whichever one does the business.
