2:40 Kempton Winning Racing Tips (20th Dec) 32RED HANDICAP (CLASS 4) (3yo+ 0-85)

Horse racing tips, Betting tips, Kempton racing
Outrage is a front-running sort so stall ten is not ideal. He has produced average times on all three tracks with this surface so not for me.

Seve is trained by Tom Dascombe and another front runner and stall six still not ideal for the make-up of this race. It has no course form and fourth best time from Lingfield.

Sandfrankskipsgo is second top rated from this course and is top rated using times from Lingfield. Peter Crate's charge hasn't run at Chelmsford, so must have a chance of making the frame but drawn seven it will take some work.

For more insight take a look at the Latest Horse Racing News at Bethut

Steelriver is a much better horse over 6 furlongs and may get outpaced in this race so it would be a lay. However, I doubt it will be any value to doing so.

Normal Equilibrium hasn't a figure from Lingfield and not in my top three on times recorded here but is top rated using Chelmsford times. In stall three, it might get squeezed out early so I don't think it will like this course as much. I will leave it alone.

Miracle Garden hasn't run over this distance at Lingfield or Chelmsford. A front-running sort, it should be ok from stall four and is top rated on times over this course and distance. It has a chance to get back to winning ways and could be the one to prosper if they go too fast.

Calypso Choir has just average times elsewhere but is third top on this courses times but stall nine may be its undoing but could make the frame with a bit of luck.

Flying Bear can be held up or track the pace but time-wise it's only producing average times and may struggle to win.

Come On Dave hasn't run over this course and distance but comes out second top at both Lingfield and Chelmsford. If taking to this track, must have some chance especially being a front runner and getting the prime draw in stall one.

Masamah hasn't any course time but is third top on Lingfield times. It usually likes to race prominently and stall two could be ideal if not involved in any early bumping.

SUMMARY: With half the field having led before it could be a fast run race. COME ON DAVE 16/1 in stall one must have every chance if getting to the front and in control of the rail. The price is ripe for an each-way wager. The dangers may come from fast finishers. That puts both SANDFRANKSKIPSGO 12/1 and MIRACLE GARDEN 8/1 each-way alternatives. I can't split them and will back them to show a profit whichever one does the business.

Come On Dave 20/1 2nd
Sandfrankskipsgo 12/1 7th
Miracle Garden 10/1 8th

1:30 Southwell - This doesn't look a strong class five race. I've marked five of the fourteen runners as being possible dangers for various reasons but mainly as they have no course and distance form. Other form lines suggest they will like the surface which means any stakes will be kept low,

Evanescent is one of only two horses I've marked as front running types and this one could be dangerous if getting to the front and set its own pace.

I've got two horses I'm interested.

FUJIN 14/1 starts out as my top rated but stall thirteen isn't ideal. The price is tempting and a small each-way bet may be called for just in case the other selection doesn't run to its best.

HARDWOOD'S STAR is second top rated at 11/2. It is being ridden by a 7lb claiming apprentice which makes them joint top rated. Once again, the draw hasn't been kind, housed in stall ten but if either gets a trouble-free run they could win so I will go with two small bets on both to show a profit whichever one does the job.

Harwood's Star 8/1 2nd
Fujin 25/1 6th

2:00 Southwell -  Once again fourteen runners but eight have led before and all of my top four rated horses are among those.

Sir Geoffrey is fourth top and comes out of stall seven but this is a straight course at this distance so the draw isn't of any real importance.

Third top rated is Bapak Bangsawan and if, emphasize the “if”, getting to the front it could be hard to catch.

The second top is Sarabi who is a versatile sort when it comes to racing tactics and stall four could be just fine if it can track the horse just to its inside.

Top spot goes to OSCARS JOURNEY 15/2 who has been drawn in stall thirteen and I think those drawn middle to high have a slight advantage on the straight course and hopefully, this one will find its way back into the winner's circle. There are a few possibly hidden dangers so stakes once again have to kept on the low side of things.

Oscar's Journey 16/1 Unp
