3:15 Lingfield Winning Racing Tips (31st Dec) BETWAY APP HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-65)

INDIAN AFFAIR possible front runner but stall 10 not ideal plus only mediocre times so not for me in this race and looks poor value at 7/1.

RIGOLLETO another possible leader but stall 11 isn't good, 2nd best on course and distance times and 2nd best on Kempton times, would have at least a place claims apart from the draw.

COLOURBEARER decent draw in stall 2 likes to race near the pace and has my co-top time from Chelmsford but slower times here and Kempton so maybe make the frame.

TRIPLE DREAM has only produced average times at the other 2 tracks with this surface despite being a possible front-runner but is top rated on course and distance times so must have a decent chance here and be ridden by a 3lb claiming apprentice to aid its chances.

CITY OF ANGKOR WAT may not be at its best at this distance and may need further and timewise its not in my top 4.

JUMEIRAH STAR has led before and stall 5 isn't too bad hasn't any form here and only slow times at the other 2 tracks and would be a lay if it wasn't a 3-year-old.

COMPTON PRINCE another of my co-top rated from Chelmsford and 3rd best on times from here so ought to have at least place claims.

MUSICAL TASTE another 3year old and very versatile with its running style but may prefer further and a lay apart from its age, so will neither back or lay it.

BORN TO FINISH has had 13 races without winning just an average time from Chelmsford and would be a lay if not being a 3year old.

CLOAK AND DEGAS another known front runner and in stall 4 and the 3rd co-top rated from Chelmsford and could gain control of the rails. FRAP a 3year old with poor form who made need further but is versatile with its running style and just its age prevents it being a confident lay bet.

INDUS VALLEY not in my top 4 times recorded here and has no form from the other 2 tracks and may need this run for fitness.

SUMMARY: A tricky little race but I firstly narrowed it down to 5, which isn't good enough for betting purposes, looking through jockey and trainer stats its now down to 3, Rigolleto , Triple Dream and Compton Prince , there's very little splitting all of them and the latter pair are both from the same stable and I would think only 1 of them will be trying and if pushed I would side with TRIPLE DREAM 11/1 just because the trainer is using a good 3lb claiming apprentice for the 1st time and that maybe a tip in itself but I will probably have a saving bet on the stable's other runner just in case I'm not one the one that's trying.

Triple Dream 16/1 3rd

3:45 Lingfield - Not enough to write about every horse, Frank The Barber stall 5 and Quality Art my 4th top rated on course and distance times, stall 10 have been known to lead but only usually if nothing else wants to lead but there are 2 others that are more natural front running types, Ask The Guru is a possible front runner in stall 4 and is 3rd top rated on times recorded here and 2nd best on Kempton times so it should have place claims, the horse that's most likely to prosper if they go too fast up front is Temple Road who is 3rd best on Kempton times and 2nd best on times from here but top rated here is ROY'S LEGACY 7/1 who is also top rated on Kempton times and its also the other possible front runner and stall 1 is ideal for it, form-wise its last 2 runs have been a bit better than the bare form suggests and it hasn't been able to get to the front either time so here from the favoured draw I'm hoping here it can gain control of the rails and lead all the way and get back into the winners enclosure.

Roy's Legacy 8/1 2nd
