3:20 Newcastle Winning Racing Tips (16th Dec) BETWAY CLAIMING STAKES (CLASS 6) (3yo+)

Winning racing tips, expert racing tips, betting news
This claiming race is full of uncertainties and unknowns, the bottom 3 could all be potential dangers in the race, it might be the wrong going for Doc Sportello, if Sandstream was my horse it wouldn't be a trier in this race whilst trying to get as low as possible official handicap mark and does look as though sprinting won't be its forte as it looks to want further, Manatee Bay has recorded a decent time over course and distance, on official figures INTIBAAH 5/4 comes out top and it does the same on my speed figures and hopefully the icing on the cake would be the fact its the only known front-runner in the race so if allowed to set its own pace it would be very very hard to catch but with the uncertainties in the race stakes have to be kept very much on the low side but the betting may be a better guide to its chances, and at the price I would only put it in a multi bet as there's no value.

Intibaah 9/4 2nd

3:50 Newcastle -  Fourteen runners in this class 4 race over 5 furlongs but only 3 known to lead before but they are spread right across the course from stall 1 to stall 11, even so, 2 of them are not in my top 6, Brockholes one of the 3-year-olds in the race and this one could be a bit of a hidden danger having never run on this surface but having recorded a fast time on good to firm ground over this trip on the grass, 3rd top spot goes to Poppy In The Wind who can chase the pace or be held up which is the same as my 2nd top rated Fredricka but this one hasn't won on the all-weather so far but admittedly its only had 4 runs but top spot is SOMETHING LUCKY 25/1 who was actually unlucky when finishing 5th 3 runs ago in a fast run race over this course and distance, its versatile with its running style so hopefully this time it either gets a more prominent position or it gets its share of luck when trying to challenge.

Something Lucky 25/1 8th

5:15 Wolverhampton - A very nice looking class 2 race with 11 runners but none of them are front running types so it could be hard to see firstly who the early pace setter will be and also how fast will it go early, without knowing the answer the picture of this race is muddied before I start trying to analyse the horses, I've got joint 3rd top rated horses in Zac Brown and Ballesteros, in 2nd spot I've got Kasbah who recorded its best time in 22015 but hasn't any recent form over this course and distance but did show its fitness last time out when staying on strongly to finish 3rd in a 5 furlong sprint and this extra furlong will suit it better but top spot is UPAVON 6/1 who likes to track the leaders or be held up but I've the feeling from stall 4 it could be able to gain control of the rails and then control the race and then stay on the strongest but I will keep my stakes a bit lower as the horse isn't a known front-runner but I'm just hoping that's the tactics deployed in this race.

5:45 Wolverhampton (Division 1) - This is a poor race split into 2 divisions, nothing much to write home about so just a quick race summary, a couple of possibly hidden dangers and just 2 that have been known to lead before, Emerald Bay my 3rd top rated but stall 11 isn't ideal, my 2nd top rated is Presto Boy but this one might prefer further so should be staying on at the finish, top spot is QUALITY ART 8/1 and the other possible leader, housed in stall 2 it should have every chance to get to the front and control of the race on the rails and go for a trap to line victory.

Quality Art 8/1 4th

6:15 Wolverhampton - 6.15 (Division 2) - This division does look slightly better with 4 possible pace setters in the race, Charlie Lad should be staying on as it looks to want further but is my 4th top rated, Captain Scooby is 3rd top rated but my 2nd top rated is ROY'S LEGACY 8/1 who is a possible front runner although it has got the highest draw of the 4 pace setters but he's got a few pounds in hand on its best and that could be enough to see it get to the front where it would then be hard to catch but top rated is ELAND ALLY 12/1 but this one hasn't been in good form lately but it is capable of springing back to form without prior warning so I am going have to go with backing both of them to show a profit whichever one does the business,

Eland Ally 16/1 4th
Roy's Legacy 16/1 5th
