12:40 Southwell Winning Racing Tips (2nd Jan) BETWAY HANDICAP (Div I) (CLASS 6) (4yo+ 0-60)

horse racing tips, horse racing news, winning racing tips
This is such a poor race and also a few possible hidden dangers so it's definitely not a race to be going mad with, I've only got 2 horses marked down as leading before and it's one of these where I'll start, Spowarticus is drawn in stall 3 and is a possible leader and being my 2nd top rated it could be hard to catch but its recent form has been quite poor but this is a little bit easier race so could do a bit better here but top rated is ARIZONA SNOW 6/1 who usually likes to race prominently but stall 11 isn't going to help its cause but if getting a clear run could stay on the stronger and it did indicate a return to form when finishing 2nd last time out over this distance at Chelmsford it is a course and distance winner so there shouldn't be any problem with the surface and can get back to winning ways here if putting its best hoof forward.

1:10 Southwell - This is the 2nd division of the previous race and its even worse and only FORTINBRASS 7/2 has done a time fast enough to register on my figures but this distance does stretch its stamina if they go a fast early pace but maybe in this class they are not capable of going too fast for it, it did finish 3rd last time out over this course and distance which shows some resemblance of form and this race won't take much winning but it is out in stall 10 but maybe it's worth a small wager but I was hoping for a bit bigger price so I'm hoping it drifts nearer the 5/1 price which I was hoping for.

Fortinbrass 7/2 6th

1:40 Southwell - The 3rd sprint on the trot on the card and once again it's a poor race despite being 1 class better, there is 5 runners this time with recordable times but also a few that could be potential hidden dangers which must automatically temper any confidence and the strength of the wager, there's 6 that have been known to lead before which is where I'll start as my 4th top rated Archimedes and 3rd top rated Sarabi have both been known to lead and on this straight course the draw seems to have little effect, my 2nd top rated is Englishwoman who could be the one to prosper if they go too fast at the front of the race but my top rated is POWERFUL WIND 16/1 who is a known front running type and if getting to the front could be hard to catch and the trainer has called on the services of Luke Morris to ride it here, he has ridden the horse before but not on its last 6 runs but has ridden some winners for the stable and could add to his tally in this race but stakes have to be kept low because of the possible dangers.
