ENGLISHWOMAN usually races prominently and this straight 5 furlong does suit it and comes out 2nd best on my figures so could make the frame.
PIAZON has got into 4th on my figures but is being ridden by a decent 7lb claiming apprentice which moves it into 2nd position and is in very good form likely and ought to make the frame if not win the race.
WANEEN is a stablemate of Piazon and a front runner and the jockey riding this one is 3-5 for the stable on the all weather and this might be the more fancied of the stable's runners but it has never run on this surface but its turf form suggests it could go well on it.
ROCKING RUDOLPH may need this run for fitness and I'm not sure the surface will suit it so in my opinion, I would lay it if there's any value in its price.
MYSTERIOUS LOOK timewise not in my top 4, can be held up or track the leaders but may struggle against some of these.
KING CRIMSON has done quite badly on its 2 runs over this course and distance, it's also the 3rd horse from the J.Butler stable and via jockey booking looks the least fancied but another possible leader so looks to not like this surface so another potential lay.
BERLIOS usually races prominently in its races but its best time doesn't put it in my top 4 so another that may struggle in this race.
CROSSE FIRE is my top rated and usually races prominently and showed a return to form when finishing 3rd at this course over 6 furlongs and this switch back to 5 furlongs looks ideal and will have the fast past it likes to aim at over this distance.
BROCKHOLES looks quite versatile with its running style and hasn't run on this surface before but other form points to it maybe liking it here and could be a possible hidden danger.
RED STRIPES is my 3rd top rated and is usually staying on at this distance so could make the frame but is maybe better over further, it is a possible front runner but I think unlikely it will be able to and it has been well out of form recently, if it wasn't 3rd on my list it would be a lay.
MISU MONEYPENNY only did a slow time in 2015 but has handled cut on turf so could maybe do better here and usually races prominently but not worth a bet or a lay in my opinion.
ARCHIMEDES comes out 4th top on my ratings and another possible pace setter it ran well 2 runs ago when finishing 3rd but that was in class 6 and this maybe too hard for it to actually win.
SUMMARY: The same trainer has 3 in this field, on jockey bookings Waneen looks the more fancied but timewise Piazon is their best hope and Piazon does like a fast pace to aim at to win and his 2 stablemates are both front running types but it will also suit my top rated CROSSE FIRE 5/1 who also at this distance wants a fast run race, I think the race will be set up for a finishing type and normally I would go with betting my top 2 ratings but I'm not sure, and I'm hoping, if Piazon will be a trier as it may need to drop a few pounds to get back to a winning mark.
