1:30 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (11th March) CLASSIFIED CLAIMING STAKES (Class 5) (4yo+) Winner £3,235 9 runners 5f20y Standard ATR

Racing Tips Eric Winner
Emjayem not in my top 5 ratings and trainer is 0-32 at this course but the jockey is 1-2-

Point North starts in 3rd spot but moves to joint top with 7lb claimer riding trainer has a poor 5% win ratio the same with the jockey

Big Amigo may need a longer trip and not on my radar as the winner

Archie Stevens the trainer is 0-18 here it's the 1sr ride for the apprentice for this stable and not in my top 5 ratings

Bush Warrior starts off as my top rated, trainer has 5% win rate and the jockey is 0-10

Master Pekan is still a maiden after 11 races and has slow times here

Summerinthecity has a new jockey riding today but timewise not in my top 4

Malaysian Boleh starts off in 2nd spot but 7lb claimer moves it top and the jockey has ridden a winner for the stable before

Doctor Parkes the trainer has 20% win ratio and the jockey a 13% strike rate.

SUMMARY: The biggest problem could be the lack of front runners in the race with just Archie Stevens known to have led before, both Point North 12/1 and Malaysian Boleh 5/2 could be top rated when taking off their apprentice riders claim but both look as though a longer trip would suit them better and the early pace may not be fast enough for them to be able to use their stamina but it wouldn't surprise me if either of them won the race and I think the winner will come from them or my originally top rated BUSH WARRIOR 7/1 who can be held up or track the leaders and will hopefully stay on the strongest at the finish.

NR: Bush Warrior - Second top rate wins - Malaysian Boleh 2/1
4:25 WOLVERHAMPTON
Only 9 runners for this class 2 race is a poor turnout with the winners prizemoney being over 15k and even more annoying to me is the lack of front-runners, Eastern Impact and Old Fashioned could be dark horses and the former has been running in better class races on turf and this is its first attempt on an all-weather track so if taking to it could be very dangerous, I've got Gentlemen as my 4th top rated, Russian Soul in 3rd spot, Go Far occupying 2nd position and the bottom weight UPAVON 9/2 as my top rated and despite its position in the handicap it won't be outclassed, the trainer Stuart Williams also has Shamshon in the race and if there's not a fast pace this one could be dangerous but if there is a fast early pace then it might not have the stamina to win, so its hard to be overly confident and stakes will be kept on the low side of normal.

Upavon 8/1 2nd

Just 10 runners in this class 5 event and 3 of them have been known to lead before so it ought to be a true run race, Higher Court isn't in my top 4 ratings and has poor trainer and jockey statistics and stall 10 isn't ideal for a front runner, Fujin is my 3rd top rated and also a possible pace setters with stall 1 also in its favour then if you take off the 5lbs the apprentice claims it moves this topweight into 2nd top spot and if getting to the front it could prove hard to catch, Chetan is my original 2nd top rated and is a versatile type but drops down to 3rd spot and stall 5 isn't bad but will most likely have to be wide of Fujin on the bends but top spot goes to COLOURBEARER 12/1 who can be held up or track the front runners and from stall 3 it ought to be able to get a good position on the rails just behind the front 2 setting the pace and then stay on the stronger at the finish and the jockey booking of William Carson looks a positive move as hes won 3 of the 8 horses he's ridden for the stable but at the price I will be going with an each-way investment.

NR - Colourbearer

Second top rated won Fujin 6/1
