2:00 Lingfield Racing Tips (4th March) Sprint Handicap (Class 6) (4yo+)

With a field of 10 runners over the minimum distance its not surprising to see there is possibly 6 that have been known to lead, Molly Jones is the best drawn but is 0-22 on the all-weather, Red Flute stall 4 and Frank The Barber stall 7 are my joint 4th top rated so the early pace should be good, Ask The Guru would be my top rated from 2015 times but seems in the doldrums lately and has run way below its best and despite the jockey booking looking good he's ridden 29 times for the stable without having a winner but on this years times I've got joint top rated with Willow Spring but this is from a stable who has been out of form lately and FABULOUS FLYER 5/2 who from stall 2 can sit on the rail just behind the leaders from which to attack late on and stay the stronger and the apprentice jockey booking looks a positive move from the connections and its been 1st once and 2nd twice from its 3 runs this year so is in good form and has a chance here to get itself back into the winners enclosure the price isn't great but a winners a winner and could help in a multi bet.

It's a shame there's only 7 entrants in this class 2 race and therefore its hard to go with an each way bet, Robot Boy may struggle to get to the front at this shorter trip which might also apply to Zac Brown, Monumental Man is my 2nd top rated but this class might just find it out so that leaves BOSHAM as the most likely pace setter from stall 4 and then prove hard to catch, I've got DYNAMO WALT as my top rated but I'm not completely sure if it's good enough in this class but I will be going with backing both to show a profit whichever one does the business and but stake-wise I won't be going in all guns blazing. (Bosham is now a non-runner and my advice now is to leave the race alone)

At least there are 8 runners in this race if there's any each way value and the only problem I can see is where the early pace will come from as there are no known pace makers in the field, Thornton Lady usually races prominently and comes out 3rd top on my figures so could be the one to make the pace, Jess is in 2nd spot on my figures but if they did go a fast pace this trip does stretch its stamina and this is a step up in class in its last race and its not been in form lately but top on my speed figures is KI KI 6/1 who ran well on its 1st and only start of this year when finishing 4th just over a length behind the winner in a fast time and a repeat of that effort would be good enough to win this and the jockey booked for the ride has had 2 rides with 1 winner before so looks a positive booking.

Another 8 runner race at least this time there's a front-runner in the shape of Bahango but I doubt it can lead all the way even if getting an uncontested lead, topweight Compton River is my 3rd top rated and can be held up or track the leaders, my 2nd top rated is Horsforth who prefers to be prominent without actually leading and will make sure those setting the pace don't get everything their own way but top spot is WINDFORPOWER 10/1 who can track the pace or be held up so can deploy whatever tactics it thinks is needed to win the race and the jockey has ridden 2 winners from 9 rides for the stable so it looks as though connections are expecting a big run from their horse in this race and as long as there remain 8 runners so there are 3 places for an each way bet then I will go with an each way bet but if there are any non-runners so only 2 places for an each way bet I would go with the win part only.
