I found this an intriguing little claiming race with just 6 runners and the bottom 2 out of the same stable, half of them have been known to lead but the draw shouldn't make any difference with a small field, Bush Warrior will need to improve on its only run of the year by quite a few pounds to win this, Head Space a hold up type might not catch the leaders and I think Flowers On Venus who is dropped in class from its best form last year has won its only race of this year here but over 7 furlongs in a slow run race may find it more difficult to lead here as it will be pushed by both Bush Warrior and Silver Springs who might be trying to set the race up for its stablemate who looks the better horse but I'm going with FAIRWAY TO HEAVEN 7/2 to track the leaders and then stay on strongly at the finish and a reproduction of the form it achieved at Kempton 2 runs ago ought to be enough to win this race and this is another horse dropped in class.

There's 11 runners in this class 4 affair with 3 that have been known to lead, Make Music has got stall 1 but I think it might need further to show its best it might not be capable of leading in this race, Seamster is 5th best on my figures and has stall 2 but its 7lb claiming apprentice would move it to 3rd top spot, the other front runner is my 2nd top rated but Bertie Blu Boy is drawn in stall 7 so maybe not ideal and off bottom weight is it classy enough to win at this level but even then I've got SWISS CROSS 16/1 rated above it and this one is being ridden by a 3lb claiming apprentice who has won 7 of his 24 rides for the stable to move even further clear at the top, all 4 of its races this year have been over 7 furlongs and this drop in distance looks a good move and it will need to get a clear run from stall 11 which isn't ideal but not insurmountable and luckily the price permits me to go with an each way bet.

Back to the basement for this class 6 race with 12 entrants but only 2 that are known as front running sorts, Deer Song who is well drawn in stall 2 and could be dangerous with an easy lead, the other is Rigolleto who is my 3rd top rated but is out in stall 10 which isn't ideal but could still be dangerous and make the frame if just the 2 of them try to lead, Athassel won Monday at Wolverhampton which is a different surface and the time was slow so I would be wary about backing it here carrying a 6lb penalty, Noble Deed is my 2nd top rated and has got decent speed figures on all 3 courses with this surface but the jockey booking is strange as Luke Morris is a top jockey but is 0-30 when riding for this stable so my top rated horse which is coming out of stall 5 and likes to track the leaders is DOMINIUM 7/2 but there does look to be a couple of what might be hidden dangers but as always I will stick with the proven, even so any stakes will be kept on the low side.
Dominium 5/1 9th
