Jeanie's Palace may find this distance too far and will hope it's not a fast early pace.

Mambo Spirit can be held up or track the leaders but not in my top few.
Quiet Warrior is usually held up but can track the pace if need be but not in my top few.
Tilsworth Micky another not in my top few and can be held up or track the pace.
Menelik is in stall 12 but the one of two more likely to try and lead and then be hard to catch.
Ducissa has got poor form and may need further to show its best,
Penny Dreadful could attempt to lead but the trainer is 0-38 at this course with older horses.
Caledonian Gold has shown poor form and may need further to show its best.
Strictly Carterholdupold up type and this trip might prove to be too far.
Mighty Zip usually tracks the leaders and isn't in my top few ratings.
Nasri usually races prominently but the trainer is 0-23 and jockey 0-17 for the stable.
Kingstreet Lady is a versatile type but a 13 race maiden.
SUMMARY: Not a great race and two horses that did good times here haven't won here so have maybe been towed along in a fast run race and maybe not able to reproduce that time so I'm hoping that MENELIK 7/2 can from stall 12 get into a good prominent early position or even lead and if doing so it could prove hard to catch but its a race where my stakes will be kept on the low side of things, I was thinking about 4/1 the field and the selection being in the 1st 2 or 3 in the betting so the price is about what I expected but as I've already stated stakes will be kept low.

MENELIK 7/2 1ST
