2:10 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (5th April) Sprint Handicap (Class 5) (4yo+)

On paper it's a competitive race with just 8 runners and only one known front runner but there's 2 or maybe 3 potentially hidden dangers so it's not a race to betting in too heavily but I'm hoping I've found the winning angle in the race, if Groundworker can transfer his Newcastle time to here it could be a threat and the same applies to Monsieur Paddy and Vale Of Flight but they all look happier in class 6 races so may be outclassed here, Powerful Dream and China Excels are my joint 3rd top rated, the latter has led before but only when nothing else wants to but I doubt that will happen in this race, Compton River is 2nd top rated but stall 8 doesn't look ideal especially as nearly all the runners like to sit just off the pace by tracking the leaders and in this case it looks most likely that BAHANGO 10/3 will do the front running role especially as it's drawn the number one stall and with the 7lb the apprentice claims, he has had 3 rides for this stable resulting in one win makes it look like a positive booking, it also makes it my top rating, so I do expect the selection to get away fast and control the race from the front for an all the way victory.

This is a poor 12 runner class 6 affair with just one known front runner which means Deer Song coming out of stall 6 would normally be a bit of a hidden danger but it's still a maiden after 27 runs so there's something amiss and it's not for me, there's' only 3 runners in the race that have run fast enough to register on my figures since the 1st Jan 2016 and 6 that I can eliminate from my analysis, Little Indian is my 3rd top rated but this one always looks as though a longer trip would suit and this race may not be run at a fast early gallop which wouldn't suit it either, Justice Rock is my 2nd top rated and that's despite still being a maiden after 34 races which would put me off backing the win part but maybe worth betting for a place, my top spot is FABULOUS FLYER 5/1 and this one usually likes to track the leaders and could gain control of the rails just behind the leader from its stall 4 draw from where it could get the first crack at the leader and then stay on the stronger at the finish and hopefully get back into the winners enclosure.

Fabulous Flyer 15/2 3rd
