2:20 Thirsk Winning Racing Tips (22nd April) Entry Handicap (Div II) (Class 5) (4yo+)

racing tips
This 2nd division looks a better race with 4 that have been known to lead before Bop It my 4th top could is one of them, More Beau is 3rd top despite looking as though some cut in the going would suit it better, Etienne Gerrard is 2nd top but the trainer is 1-20 at this course while my top rated is WILLBEME 14/1 who is a possible front runner and the jockey has a 17% strike rate for the stable which looks a positive and hopefully it can lead or contest from start to finish and it's an each-way price which helps.

An apprentices race with 11 runners and over this 5 furlongs there's 5 that have led before, Flicka's Boy is my 3rd top rated and a possible pace setter but the trainer is 0-10 at this course, Chip Or Pellet is my original top rated but the trainer is 1-12 at this course and its the 1st ride for the apprentice for this stable so not sure if its a positive or negative but may need this run for fitness, in 2nd spot is ROY'S LEGACY 11/2 who is a front runner and stall 9 is ideal as any bias is to those drawn high and the apprentice has a 14% win ratio for the stable soI'mm hoping it can lead all the way and complete its hattrick of wins.

A 9 rrunner amateur riders handicap doesn't thrill me but my 2 top ratings are being ridden by 2 of the better jockeys in the race, PUSHKIN MUSEUM 6/4 finished 2nd last time out in a fairly slow run race and got out sprinted inside the final furlong but with 4 possible front runners here the faster earlier pace might suit it better and 2 of those pace setters are Indian Pursuit and Langley Vale my joint 3rd top rated, top rated is CASTLEREA TESS 10/1 who usually races prominently without leading but stays on strongly at the finish on a going day, so I will back them both to show a profit whicever one wins.

With 10 runners and just 2 known front runners and 4 with big negatives against their name but also 2 possible hidden dangers any stakes will have to be kept low, Hamish McGonagain is 3rd top rated and the trainer does well here and could make the frame, Tasaaboq is 2nd top rated and the jockey has won 16% of rides for this stable but top spot is INDIAN AFFAIR 11/1 who is one of the likely pace setters especially from stall one but the jockey is 0-15 for this stable which doesn't make any sense to me as David Probert is a very good jockey but I will wait for the betting and the price on the latter horse as I would want some value before placing a bet but stakes will be kept low and a small each way bet is in order.

Half of the 8 runners have been known to lead and Youre Cool and Annie Salts are my joint 3rd top rated so it should be a fast run race in 2nd spot is Temple Raod who usually stays on strongly at the end of its races and should make the frame if running to its best, my top spot goes to POWERFUL DREAM 9/2 who usually likes to track the leaders and then stay on the stronger at the finish.

Powerful Dream 15/2 7th
