2:40 Lingfield Racing Tip (4th May) Racing Welfare Claiming Stakes (Class 6) (3yo+)

racing tips
Only 7 runners but a hard race to weigh up properly, Quintus Cerialis is one of the 2 that has been known to lead and has the prime draw in stall 1 and I think may try to lead all the way if its good enough, Head Space is a hold up type and my 2nd top rated so ought to be staying on at the finish, Flowers On Venus has been in good form winning its last 2 races at this course both were relatively slow run races but the trainer does do well here and the jockey has won one of his two rides for the stable but my top rated is VARSOVIAN 11/2 who always looks as though a longer trip will suit it but it stays on strongly at this distance and from stall 2 it ought to be able to get a good early position from which to stay on at the finish.

Varsovian 11/2 4th

This time only 6 runners with just Sandras Secret having been known to lead before but it might be better over a shorter trip but could be dangerous if allowed to set its own slower early pace, K'Gari Spirit hasn't any course form but could be another hidden danger, in fact I've only got NAGS WAG 5/2 with a time fast enough to register on my figures but any stakes will be kept low.

Nags Wag 5/1 5th

6:10 Musselburgh -
Another 7 runner race, Eternalist is a possible pacesetter if this was an all-weather course but it may not be able to on grass which leaves me thinking NOODLES BLUE BOY 4/1 my 2nd top rated could be the one to set the pace and then prove hard to catch, I have got THORNABY PRINCESS 8/1 rated 5lb's better but it hasn't run since September 2016 so it may need this run for fitness but it has won before after a break so I will go with backing them both to cover both angles and show a profit whichever one does its job.

Thornaby Princess 12/1 3rd
Noodles Blue Boy 4/1 4th

8:10 Musselburgh -
I've no idea why all 4 sprints today have a maximum of 7 runners but in this race ive no idea either who's going to set the pace, I've got Silvanus as my 2nd top rated and Royal Brave as my 3rd top rated and both like to track the leaders and could push each other early in the race but my top rated is DESERT ACE 5/1 and the trainer has a 14% win rate and the jockey a 17% win rate for the stable so it looks as though connections are expecting a good run here.

Desert Ace 5/1 4th
