3:00 Brighton Racing Tips (2nd May) ROA/Racing Post Owners Jackpot Handicap (Class 4) (4yo+)

racing tips
Only 6 runners and if the going is ok then the race seems to between 3 of them (there's rain forecast in the area so check the going before betting) Emjayem is my 3rd top rated and Sandfrankskipsgo is in 2nd spot and both like to track the leaders and my top rated COSMOPOLITAN GIRL 2/1 is possible pacesetter and if allowed to get to the front in this race it could prove to be very hard to catch and I'm certainly hoping it can lead all the way to the victory BUT the trainer I 0-21 at this course and the top class jockey is 0-3 which tempers my enthusiasm so stakes will be kept low.

With only 7 runners it should be easier to solve but this race has got so many unanswered questions it looks best left alone, Lathom has no all-weather form to work with, Exceed The Limit may want the run for fitness, the top pair Zac Brown and Independence Day could be better than they have shown so far and the former ran very well on Saturday on grass when leading over 6 furlongs, which usually does stretch its stamina, and staying ahead long enough to stay 2nd, Fast Track is another possible front runner and my 3rd top rated, TOP BOY occupies 2nd spot and hails from the Derek Shaw stables as does my top rated horse DYNAMO WALT and on jockey bookings the latter does look to be their 1st choice but the stable could win with either horse but with the betting giving tempting odds I will go with a small each way bet on both of the D.Shaws horses at 10/1.

There's 4 in this field of 10 that have led before but 3 of them only usually lead if nothing else wants to and only Roys Legacy would I say is a natural front running type but stall 10 isn't ideal and this course isn't its best but it does come out 5th top so if getting an uncontested lead it could do enough to make the frame, Mighty Zip starts off as my 3rd top rated but its 7lb claiming apprentice jockey moves it into 2nd spot relegating Frank The Barber who is one of the 3 that are versatile with their running styles including leading into 3rd spot and my top rated BOROUGH BOY 11/4 is another of those possible pace setters but stall 9 doesn't do it any favours but the trainer has a 17% win rate here and the jockey a 22% win rate for this stable which all points to them expecting a big run in this race.
