5:10 Ripon Racing Tips (21st May) Middleham Trainers Association Apprentice Handicap (Class 5) (4yo+)

Racing tips
SIR DOMINO may find this 5-furlong trip too short and isn't in my top 4 if the going is good or better but could make the frame if there's cut in the ground.

MININGGOLD seems to be a horse that does its best when the ground is genuinely good, so will be lucky to be able to show its best here.
ENTERTAINING BEN is a possible pacesetter if the going is good or better but maybe not be involved if it rides on the soft side of things.
ROY'S LEGACY another possible front runner whatever the going is like, my top rated if it's on the fast side and can handle some cut.
MITCHUM has won on soft ground and is 3rd on my figures on good ground so could make the frame whatever the ground is like.
SARABI has won on soft ground but may not like it if its good to firm, so could make the frame if the going is softish but may struggle if good fast ground.
MIGHTY ZIP may find this trip too short if it's good or better but maybe not like it if the going is on the soft side.
PEARL NOIR is well weighted and 2nd best on my figures and is versatile with how it runs tactically but may not like the ground to be soft.
SUMMARY: I hope all 8 horses take part so there's 3 places if I find an each way bet, the going will crutial for some of the runners in this race and if its on the soft side both Sarabi and Mitchum could make the frame but if it rides good or better then Pearl Noir could make the frame along with Mitchum, so Mitchum could be an each way bet if a big enough price but the horse I fancy whatever the going is ROY'S LEGACY 4/1 who is a front running sort and has a few spots in hand if the going is good or firmer and has won on soft going as well so looks the most likely winner.

Roy's Legacy 6/1 4th
