This is a nice looking class 2 race with 12 runners and 7 of them are 3-year-olds, so something could improve to win the race but my top 2 ratings are 3-year-olds so hopefully I've found the right horse and if it can improve further its all to the good, Southern Belle is my 4th top rated and usually tracks the leaders the same as my 3rd top rated Shypen, in 2nd spot I've got Eartha Kitt who did its best time at Haydock on ground described as good so I'm not sure if faster ground would suit but top spot goes to QUEEN IN WAITING who did its fastest time this year at Goodwood when just over 2 lengths behind the winner Boy In The Bar 5/1 (who ran well when finishing 3rd on this Saturday just gone) and this slightly easier course may well suit it better but there are quite a few questions that need answering with some of its opponents so my stakes will be kept on the low side of things.

Not a great race but maybe I've found the solution, there's 14 runners with 1 runner that has been known to lead if nothing else wants to but I doubt it will need to here, so it leaves INDIAN AFFAIR 9/1 as the most likely pacesetter and from stall 7 it can cover a move from either side, the trainer is Milton Bradley and he's employed Robert Winston for the ride and he's got a 2-12 record for the stable which is hopefully a pointer to them expecting it to go well here, Bradley's other runner, Divine Call, who at the time of writing hasn't got a jockey booked, hasn't shown much form recently. At ten years of age, he might be on a downward spiral, then the trainer Ron Harris has 2 horses running, Vincentti my 3rd top rated and Diamond Vine my 2nd top rated, so it's not a race to get too heavily involved with but I'm hoping a small wager on Indian Affair will pay dividends with the horse going for victory by trying to lead all the way but I might also have cover bets on the other 3 mentioned horses as its such a poor affair.
