2:00 Pontefract Racing Tips (3rd July) Handicap

Horse Racing Tips
2:00 Pontefract - Class 5 – 5 furlongs – 13 runners
Jacobs Pillow a possible front runner and my 4th best Oriental Splendour 3rd best so the most likely horse to take advantage if they go off too fast and fade Sarabi my 2nd best and another possible pace setter but maybe doesn't want the going to be too fast BOUNDSY 7/2 my top rated and another that could lead but is a versatile sort, it's got good trainer and jockey win stats and it points to connections expecting this 3year old to run well in this race.

Boundsy 7/2 2nd
3:00 Pontefract - Class 3 – 6 furlongs – 8 runners
Apart from not being sure which horse will be the pace setter there's six 3year olds in the race so anything could improve but I've got Love Oasis as my 2nd top rated but a few spots behind my top rated horse PARTITIA 11/4 who usually tracks the leaders and the trainer has a 27% win rate and the jockey 38% wins for the stable which points to them expecting a big run but I'm doubting the price will be very big when it comes from Michael Stoute's stable.

Partitia 11/4 2nd 6:15 Hamilton - Class 5 – 6 furlongs – 7 runners
A poor amateur riders race and maybe it's best left alone but I've got a notion and maybe worthwhile to go with a small bet on WILLBEME 7/1 its what I would call the only natural front-runner in the race which could help its cause because it finds the distance a touch too far if it's a fast run race over this distance but if allowed to set its own slightly steadier early pace it may be able to kick from the front and steal the race but any stakes will be kept low in this poor affair.

Willbeme 7/1 5th
7:15 Hamilton - Class 5 – 5 furlongs – 10 runners
Bronze Beau my 4th top rated and Compton River 3rd best are both possible pace setters IMPERIAL LEGEND 14/1 is my original top rated but the trainer is 0-11 at this course SALVATORE FURY 12/1 has a 5lb claimer riding which makes it the joint top rated and the trainer has a 14% win ratio.
SUMMARY: I'm going to back both of the selections with each way wagers as both ought to be staying on strongly at the finish and it may depend on which one gets a clear run when trying to mount a challenge.

Imperial Legend 14/1 8th
Salvatore Fury 12/1 6th
