3:00 Ayr Racing Tips (17th July) Handicap

Eric Winner Racing Tips 3:00 Ayr - Class 5 – 6 furlongs – 11 runners
DUNCAN OF SCOTLAND 7/2 is one of only 2 known front runners in the race and may be hard to catch for most of these as its 2nd top on my figures. SEA OF GREEN 8/1 is top rated and is usually a hold-up type.
SUMMARY: I've gone with backing both of my top 2 ratings as 1 of them could lead and be dangerous if getting its own way in front but the 2nd selection has got the speed to finish strongly and pick up the leaders so I'm covering both angles to show a profit whichever one does the business in the race.

Sea Of Green 8/1 1st
Duncan of Scotland 7/2 2nd

Exacta: £21.30
FFOS LAS 3.15 Class 4 – 5 furlongs – 9 runners
Major Valentine my 2nd top rated is a front running sort and has been in form lately and if getting to the front it could be hard to catch. PENNY DREADFUL 7/2 comes out in the top spot and can also set the pace and looks to need good to firm ground to show its best.
SUMMARY: I'm hoping the front runners don't kill themselves trying to lead but the trainer does use this apprentice before and he has won 23% of the time on the stables older horses and that 7lb claim could swing things its way.

Penny Dreadful 4/1 4th WINDSOR 7.20 Class 3 – 5 furlongs – 8 runners
SUPER JULIUS 9/2 maybe my 3rd top rated but this 3year old has won its last 2 races nicely and looks an improving sort so can't be discarded as a potential winner. STEPPER POINT 9/1 is my joint top rated from a time recorded at this course and distance this year and prefers good to firm going. DARK SHOT 6/4 starts off as 2nd top rated but the 5lb claiming apprentice moves it to joint top rated position and looks as though further might suit it even more.
SUMMARY: 5 of the 8 runners have been known to lead before and that includes all 3 of my selections and this race could turn out to be a very fast and great race to watch and I'm hoping to be able to back all 3 to show a profit.

Super Julius 5/1 5th
Dark Shot 6/4 4th
Stepper Point 9/1 7th
