1:50 Sandown Racing Tips (2nd September)

MUG PUNTER
1:50 Sandown
Monsieur Joe usually tracks the leaders but just outside my top 4 ratings. Shamshon same speed figure but this time a hold-up type. Kasbah rated 2lbs better and 5th best rated can be held up or track the pace setters Majestic Hero is 4th top and a possible front runner Show Stealer is dropped in class to run here but its form this year isn't been very good but this distance might be a bit too short for it but its drop in class could make it dangerous but I would look to lay it was a short price Super Julius my 3rd best and another possible front runner Justice Lady is my top rated and this one is versatile with its running style so ought to be able to adopt whatever tactics are needed to win this race and the jockey has a 19% win ratio for this stable which is a positive pointer Bahamian Sunrise may need some cut to show its best hence only produced slow times so if it's good or faster going and the price permitted I would look to lay it. Farleigh Mac may find this trip too short for it and it shouldn't be fast enough to lead as its done over 6furlongs so another on my lay list Lydia'sPlace is always capable of producing a fast time and its a possible pace setter but this course not might be ideal for it to show its absolute best and this looks a class 3 looks too high for it.
SUMMARY: All of my top 4 ratings have been known to lead before and as long as they don't cut each other's throats it ought to be won by a horse either in front or at least very close to the pace and as my top rated can do either I will go with backing JUSTICE LADY 6/1 but it is a competitive race so I won't be going in too heavily with my stake. Please beware here, the going was on the soft side Friday but I'm hoping it dries out enough to be good and if it's not dried out then I won't be betting in this race.

Justice Lady 8/1 1st

BEVERLEY 3.15
This is a very very tight handicapped race, my top 5 ratings are all rated within 2lb's of each other, one known front runner in the race is Mirza who is my 5th top, Alpha Delphini is 4th top, Line Of Reason could be involved in the finish but it looks like the 2nd string behind its stablemate FINAL VENTURE 5/1 and my other selection is JUDICIAL 7/1 who is just one of 2 in the race known to lead and if getting to the front it could be hard to catch but I will back them both to show a profit.

Final Venture 5/1 2nd
NR Judicial

BEVERLEY 3.50
1st division of this sprints, there's 4 of them that are front running types but only 1 of them is in my top 4 ratings, Point Of Woods and Dundunah are my joint 3rd top rated and both can track the early pace, in 2nd spot I've got LC Saloon another that usually races prominently but in top spot I've got BOSHAM 14/1 who is one of those capable of leading and if getting to the front ought to be hard to catch and to boost its chances further it's being ridden by a 7lb claiming apprentice who has ridden winners for the stable before so I'm hoping that does the trick and at the price it permits to go with an each way wager.

Bosham 20/1 Unp
BEVERLEY 4.25
2nd division and 5 possible front runners this time and once again my top rated are amongst them, Astrophysics is my 3rd top rated and might be the one to prosper if they go off too fast and then fade but I've got THE NAZCA LINES 9/1 as my 2nd top rated but only 2lb's below top spot and this 3year old has got decent trainer and jockey statistics but so does my top rated ORIENTAL RELATION 12/1 and they do have a few spots in hand using their best times and I will be backing them both each way to show a profit whichever one does the business.

The Nazca Line 9/1 5th
Oriental Relation 16/1 9th
