7:50 Chelmsford Racing Tips (30th September)

Horse Racing Tips
CHELMSFORD 7.50
EL ASTRONAUTE did its best course time this year but not enough to break into my top 4 UDONTDODOU may need further to shine so a lay in my opinion.
ABSTRACTION could be a hidden danger as it did a fast time on good to firm going a possible front-runner but stall 8 in this race might scupper its chances.
LIGHTSCAMERACTION my top rated using a time recorded in 2016 but it hasn't run on this course this year and hasn't had a run since July so may need this for fitness but cant be discarded.
ALEEF has been known to lead but looks as though further is needed and outside my top 4.
FOXY FOREVER isn't in my top 4 using course times but is 2nd top rated using turf times.
HANDYTALK is a possible lay in my eyes despite never running at this distance on this surface but looks to want further.
SHOW STEALER this one also looks to need further and I doubt this 1st run on the all-weather will suit it so a lay if there's any value in doing so.
STANGHOW is my 2nd top rated on course times and top-rated using turf times it's a possible front-runner and the best drawn of the pacesetters in stall 2.
ROSINA hasn't any distance form and slow times on turf but its a hold-up type and could stay on.
SAVED MY BACON is fairly well weighted and comes out 4th best so will need others to falter to make the frame.
CROSSE FIRE is my 3rd top rated despite looking as though this isn't its favourite surface, it usually races prominently and a reasonable draw in stall 3 so could make the frame.
SUMMARY: I have to back my top rated, LIGHTSCAMERACTION 25/1 but it might need this run so I will also back my 2nd top rated STANGHOW 16/1 a versatile sort who is top rated on turf times, its a competitive race and my stakes won't be at full strength here but I will have 2 small each-way bets at those prices.

Stanghow 16/1 7th
Lightscameration 25/1 Unp CHELMSFORD 9.20
PUSHKIN MUSEUM has been known to lead before but timewise its got a bit to find on this surface and seems to prefer the Tapeta at Wolverhampton and stall 6 isn't ideal for it so I would look to lay this if there's any value.
KRYSTALLITE another front-running type and comes out 4th top on my speed figures but it is still a few spots away from the top even with its 5lb claiming jockey and another I might look to lay on the point of winning the race.
NAGS WAG hasn't any course and distance form but its times elsewhere have been on the slow side of things and another that would be on my list of possible lays.
STAFFA has any course form but its time at Lingfield, which has the same surface, have been slow and may need a longer distance to show its best so ought to be staying on at the finish but it may be too late.
FRANK THE BARBER is a very versatile type when it comes to its racing tactics and is only rated 1lb below my 2nd top rated so could be thereabouts at the finish and maybe a contender if my top rated doesn't run to its best.
RED STRIPES is my 2nd top rated on a time recorded in 2016 and another front-running type but is in stall 7 which is the worst of the draw but if quick enough to get away at race near the front it could make the frame or win if my top rated doesn't perform to its best time.
SWENDAB 6/1 this is my top rated and a front-runner then add on the bonus of getting the stall 1 draw everything points to this one trying to gain control of the rails and lead all the way, they have employed a good 3lb claiming apprentice who is having his 1st ride for the stable but its obviously done to help their cause and will be my bet in the race.

Swendab 6/1 2nd
