9:15 Newcastle Racing Tips (12th September)

Eric Winner
The rest of today's racing is on soft ground so not for me so here's my ideas on the AW sprint. Ive got negatives against, Tea El Tee, Boogie Babe, Canford Bay, Seebring, Luv U Always and Equipe, (yes it is that poor a race) that I eliminate nearly half the field and my top 4 are as follows:
PEARL NOIR 6/1 is my 4th top rated but maybe the one that sets the pace and if getting its own way up front it could prove hard to catch and its claiming jockey moves it into 2nd spot but the trainer has a 0-39 record here and the jockey is 0-37 which puts me off its chances but never say never.
IMPERIAL LEGEND 15/2 is my 3rd top rated and usually likes to track the leaders so could easily make the frame on this straight course.
YOUNG TIGER 12/1 is my 2nd top rated but this 3year old hasn't been in such good form so far this year and is still a maiden after 12 runs but its best time would see it getting involved in the finish.
GROUNDWORKER 7/1 is once again my top rated and it's got quite a few pounds in hand if it gives of its best, I backed it last time out but covered my bet with the 14/1 winner in the race as well, I said the horse was a monkey and so it proved once again always travelling well it didn't seem keen to go through with its challenge and finished 4th when it should have won easily.
SUMMARY: I am going with backing it again in this race but not as a lone bet in case it decides not to give its best again and the betting allows me to back all of my top 4 and still come out with a reasonable profit and I'm not confident enough to try and reduce it further but I will have half of my stake on Groundworker because if it does put its best hoof forwards it would win quite easily, and then split the other half between the other 3 but with these 3 it will be staked so as to win the same amount whichever one wins and shows an overall profit.

Groundworker 7/1 1st + F/C £95.90
