6:20 Kempton (26th February) Free Racing Tips

Marjong ran a decent time over this distance at Yarmouth on good to firm ground but has poor all-weather form. Simon Dow's four-year-old filly could be an improving sort. However, she has to overcome a long absence [146 days] and not my idea of the winner. Sole Danser is a hold-up or track leader type, which comes out second on my
figures. Could have at least place claims on best form but being off course for over six months could be a little ring rusty. Dutiful Son is a hold-up horse that won last time out over course and distance. Only sixth best on my figures -  6/5f looks very poor value to me. I'd rather make it a small lay bet. *NEW LEYF can either track the leaders or be held-up but hasn't run for a couple of months. Jeremy Gask's gelding is top rated on my figures and must be respected. Daring Dragon likes to sit off the pace. He's not in my top six so doubt he will be good enough to get involved at the finish. Shaunas Spirit recorded a fairly slow time over this course but over seven furlongs. This six furlong race may be on the short side could be outpaced. Rigolleto comes out third on my figures. This bay likes to lead, so may be good enough to make the frame. Bajan Bear likes to track the leaders and comes out fourth on my figures - needs a few to disappoint. Ceelo is a versatile horse - can track the leaders or hit the front. This course may not be to his liking. Harrowgate Fair comes out fifth on my figures so may not be good enough.

Summary: With  New Leyf  being a non runner, Rigelleto is the selection. Could get an uncontested lead and worth an each way bet at 7/1 (Bet365). (E.R.I.C.)
