Eric's Weekly Round Up: Outrage 5/1 & Spirit Of Wedza 6/1

Imaginary Diva hasn't got any good course form. It can either be held up or track the leaders but would probably prefer a faster surface. Dancing Freddy is my third top rated and is in form - just beat last time out over course and distance. It is either held up or can track the leaders. Incomparable likes to track the leaders and comes out top on my ratings but had been off course for two years before its last run and didn't do well that day
but could come back to form with that run under its belt. Captain Scooby has only produced slow times over course and distance with its hold-up style of running. China Excels is another hold-up type and another that's only produced slow times at the course and distance -its all-weather form is quite poor. Spic N Span is the type that can employ any tactics and that includes leading, which it might do in this race because there's no other known front runner and could get an uncontested lead. This horse comes out second top in my ratings and if it gets a easy lead may be hard to catch. Sophies Beau has got poor all weather form and may prefer a faster surface for its hold-up or track leaders style to be more effective. Durham Express has only ran slow times at course and distance and its all-weather form is quite poor. Jemimaville has never ran over course and distance but looks like it would prefer a faster surface.

SUMMARY: The third top rated Dancing Freddy is a very short priced favourite at 5/4 and probably the safest option. But if either of the two higher rated horses ran to their best form it could also get beaten. If Spic N Span (16/1SP) got an easy lead it could some beating and comes out second top. The top rated, Incomparable, is 12/1 but needs to show massive improvement from its last run. These three horses look most likely to win but there's too many if and buts to be sure. Probably another race best left alone. (E.R.I.C.)
