2:10 Redcar Racing Tips (21st April) MARKET CROSS JEWELLERS FILLIES´ HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (4yo+ 0-75)

A ten runner race where four horses, Sunrise Dance, Ballarina, Irish Girl Spirit and Pivotal Prospect have all been known to lead before but none of them are in my top three so doubt they can stay there to the line for a win. BEAU MISTRAL 9/2 who is either held up or tracks the leaders is my top rated but only just from Shirleys Pride, who is a hold up type, and both of them finished second last time out on the all weather. The favourite is Be Lucky who has only run three
times and could be open to improvement but hasn't run for 233 days so may need the run for fitness. Mey Blossom is well weighted on some of its old form but hasn't been in much form for quite a while now and a change of headgear, a visor, is tried to try and get some improvement.

5:20 Yarmouth  - This is only a seven runner race but time wise the form doesn't add up to much from any of them. The favourite Dancing Freddy 7/4 has been running fairly consistantly but hasn't won a race since 2011 and has been tried in class six races without success. My only thought on the race is the fact that there is only one known front runner and that is Indain Tinker. If I knew for certain, after having not raced for 173 days, that it was fit enough to run to its best I would think it could possibly get an uncontested lead and steal the race from the front, But I'm going to leave the race alone because of the lack of a recent run.

SUMMARY: I would suggest a small wager on Beau Mistral in the 2.10 but it is a fairly close rated race with two other dangers so I emphasise keeping to small stakes. I wouldn't be surprised what won the 5.20 race but none of them will be carrying any of my money.

Beau Mistral 6/1 4th
