2:40 Warwick Racing Tip (24th April) TURFTV HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (4yo+ 0-75)

I'm assuming the going tomorrow at the course will be at the best good but there's also some forecast showers and if the going is on the soft side at all I won't be betting. If the going is fast enough then I would suggest an each way bet on PANTHER PATROL 10/1. It's well weighted and it's a hold up or track leaders type. There should be plenty of early pace with five horses known to lead. Of the possible leaders Kuanyao is my second top rated so will be hard to catch.

3:10 Warwick - A five runner race and three of those are making their racecourse re-appearance so it will be very hard to know exactly how fit each horse is. I will leave the race alone.

6:15 Newcastle - An eleven runner race but once again looks like the forecast showers might hit the course and alter the going. Even if it was still good to firm by the start of racing my top rated is Enderby Spirit but maybe getting a bit past its best at eight years old and it may need the run after being off for 117 days. There's two previously known front runners: Star Up In The Sky and Orbit The Moon but neither have recorded times on good to firm going that would be fast enough for them to lead all the way to win. The top rated and second and third top are either held up or track the leaders. I won't go against my top rated but I'm going to leave the race alone, in case it needs its fitness and when a horse is dropping down the grades it's never easy to say how much speed it retains after its winter rest.

Panther Patrol 10/1 4th
