7:35 Wolverhampton Racing Tip (11th April) COMPARE BOOKMAKERS AT BOOKMAKERS.CO.UK HANDICAP (CLASS 4) (4yo+ 0-85)

MAPPIN TIME  is my top rated and can either be held up or tracks the leaders. There are a couple of potential pace-setters so it should have the race run to suit. Bapak Chinta is a hold up type but is better at five furlongs so doubt it will be involved in the finish in this race. Jubilee Brig is a hold-up type or it can track the leaders and fourth on my figures so doubt it will be able to catch the leader. Vincenti is one of the two likely pace-setters but has poor all-weather form
and even then I think it would be better off on a faster surface. Bogsnog is the second likely leader and is my second top rated so could prove too fast for all bar the selection. Intrepid looks more like a five furlong horse than a six furlong one and may be better off on a faster surface.

8:35 Wolverhampton - Hamoody is a hold up type but is my second best rated and may run on into a place. Tyfos either leads or tracks the leaders. It's my fifth choice but is ideally drawn in stall one for a front runner so may be able to make the frame. Royal Acquisition may need the run to gain fitness and also prefer a faster surface. It can lead and may be taken to the front and go off as fast as it possibly to blow away the cobwebs. Storm Lightening also may need this run for fitness and only comes out fifth om my figures when hes fully wound up and doubt if he can catch the leaders whether it's held up or it tracks the pace. Angel Way is another likely front runner and is drawn in stall two but it has got poor all-weather form and may find five furlongs too short. Secret Millionaire likes to track the pace but has poor course form so I'm a bit surprised to see it's the 5/2 favourite. Island Legend is a front running type and is third best so at least has place claims. West Coast Dream is the fifth horse in this race that may try to lead but its times over course and distance have been slow and needs to improve greatly to feature here but is only a 9/2 shot. RED CAPE likes to track the leaders and hopefully can obtain a good early position, it's my top rated and with some luck in running it should come home best of them all.

SUMMARY: 7.35 Wolverhampton - I think Bogsnog will set the pace and will be hard to catch and the only horse that has produced faster times is the selection MAPPIN TIME (NAP) 5/2. 8.35 Wolverhampton - This will probably be a fast run race with five possible front runners. The selection RED CAPE usually tracks the pace. Its last few runs have been over six furlongs but it has got every chance in this five furlong race.

Red Cape 7/1 1st
