2:40 Carlisle Racing Tip (26th May) GET £50 FREE BETS WITH APOLLOBET.COM HANDICAP (CLASS 4) (4yo+ 0-80)

Five known possible pace setters: Circuitous who has been off the tracks for 248 days so he might need the run but has run into a place after a break before but not won. I rate it my seventh to. I will leave it alone and at 9/2 isn't an each way bet. Klynch may prefer a slower surface and hasn't recorded a decent time on good or better going. Sound Amigo has only shown slow times on the hopefully good to firm going so not for me. Gold Beau 14/1 could lead and is my third top rated so could be hard to catch and may
well be good enough to make the frame. Beau Mistral may find the trip too far and hasn't done a decent time over this trip. Of the hold up or track leaders types my second top rated is Al Khan but hasn't been in much form lately but could be a danger if it bounced back to its best. My top rated is the bottom weight DIAMOND BLUE 7/1 and will be held up and ran quite well to finish second last time out but that was a class six race so whether its good enough for this class four race it remains to be seen. A small each way bet could show us a profit .

4:50 Carlisle - There are only two known front runners in this field of sixteen runners: Red Cobra 14/1 and Chocamoca 16/1. Neither of them have produced anything but slow final figures but this race won't take much winning so either of them could, if getting an uncontested lead, hang on for a place. My second top rated is Salvatore Fury 12/1 who can either be held up or track the leaders and ran quite well when third on its first run of the season on 27th of April at Ayr. Top rated here is the horse that I backed last time out when it won after drifting badly at 22/1, CAPTAIN ROYALE it isn't that price today but 6/1 is quite generous in this field and if it reproduces its last run should win again.

SUMMARY: firstly watch the first race 2.10 to make sure it's not soft going and if the going is good or better it's a small each way bet on DIAMOND BLUE 7/1 in the 2.40, whilst going permitting I'll be having a reasonable bet on CAPTAIN ROYALE in the 4.50 and hope its in the same form as last time out.
