2:30 Brighton Racing Tip (1st July) BRIGHTONCARBOOTSALE.CO.UK HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-55)

A poor class six handicap with eight runners and not a known front runner among them. There is only one horse that attains a time on my minimum scale and that is THE WEE CHIEF 9/1 and that is enough for me to suggest a small each way bet at the price.

3:45 Hamilton - Only five runners and the only known front runner is the four-year-old Victory laurel who could improve and if it gets an easy uncontested lead it could be hard to catch - but it does need to improve to beat the top rated selection TANGERINE TREES 5/2 who usually tracks the early pace.

4:15 Hamilton - Eight runners here so three places and that hopefully makes the selection TOM SAWYER 14/1 an each way bet. It's the only known front runner in the field so could get an easy lead and be hard to catch.

5:30 Brighton - Only four runners but a hard race to fathom. Billy Red is the only known front runner so could get an easy lead and be a danger. The three-year-old Gulland Rock is joint second top rated and is open to improvement but the top rated is Excellent Aim but it's such a mixed up race I'm leaving it alone.

SUMMARY: 2:30 Brighton - A small each way bet on THE WEE CHIEF 9/1. 3:45 Hamilton - Go with a win here on TANGERINE TREES 5/2. 4:15 Hamilton - Another each way bet here on TOM SAWYER 14/1. 5:30 Brighton -The top rated is Excellent Aim but I'm leaving the race alone as I cant get a picture of how it might pan out.
