2:30 Nottingham Racing Tip (12th June) CARLING BRILLIANTLY REFRESHING HANDICAP (Div I) (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-65)

Three sprints all at Nottingham. I'm just hoping the going is at least good. 2:30 Nottingham - A seventeen runner class six race with four horses: Hidden Talent, Ishi Honest, Burnhope & Dancing Maite. None of them inspire me with confidence as their final times have all been slow. Thhere' s no bias in where a horse is drawn at the course and my top rated EUROQUIP BOY 8/1 is drawn in stall eight so can cover a move from either side of the track. If the selection can reproduce its running at Leicester on August 1st last year it should win.

3:05 Nottingham - The second division and another seventeen runners. Despite the size of the field there's only one known front runner in Red Cape and this is my third top rated so could be hard to catch. Black Truffle is the second top rated and likes to track the early pace setters my top rated is AVONMORE STAR 12/1 and this one is a hold up type, The only problem could be that the likely leader is drawn in stall three and the second top rated is drawn in stall two so I hope the selection doesn't become isolated from the pace from stall fifteen.

4:10 Nottingham - This is up to class three but only seven runners which limits the each way possibilities. There's no known pacemakers in the field. Noble Deed is my third top rated and prefers to track the leaders. Second top is Monsieur Chevalier who would prefer the ground to be good but maybe not as dry as good to firm but doubt the going will be that good. Top rated is JOEYS DESTINY 4/1. It likes to track the pace and is very closely handicapped with the second top rated but as a four year old could still have some improvement to come.

SUMMARY: Firstly, don't forget to check the going before betting and if possible watch the 2:00 Nottingham just to make sure. 2:30 Nottingham - EUROQUIP BOY is only 8/1 but it's a quarter the odds a place so I suggest an each way bet. 3:05 Nottingham - Again an each way bet on AVONMORE STAR 12/1, The caution is mainly because of its draw well away from the early pace. 4:10 Nottingham - JOEYS DESTINY. I'm hoping it can improve again as it's closely rated with the second top so it will have to be a win bet but I wouldn't be going in too heavily.

Avonmore Star 1st (adv) 12/1
Joey's Destiny 1st (adv) 4/1
