7:15 Carlisle Racing Tip (2nd June) APOLLOBET ENHANCED RACING SPECIALS HANDICAP (Jockey Club Grassroots Flat Sprint Series Qualifier) (CLASS 4) (4yo+ 0-80)

Firstly a reminder that all my thoughts are based on nothing softer than good going. According to the racing post all tracks have soft in the going but they said that on Saturday at Newmarket and it was good going, so will just do a quick summary of each race:

2:30 Chepstow -  This is a poor class six race and wont take much winning. Spic N Span is the only known definite front runner, so
could poach an unassailable lead but has been beaten by Molly Jones recently. My advice: leave the race alone.

3:05 Chepstow - I'm worried here because there's no known front runner but something has to lead. The only horse that interests me is the top weight TWO TURTLE DOVES. This will either be held up or track the leaders. The trainer has a decent record at the track with his older horses plus the jockey has done well for him so looks like it could be a decent bet at 5/1.

7:15 Carlisle - Circuitious is the only known front runner in the race and is third top on my figures so could be hard to catch. Second top rated is Sunraider, who is a hold up type. The top rated is HEAD SPACE 11/1 and is perhaps worth a small each way bet.

7:30 Windsor - A nice listed sprint. There's one known pace setter: Minalisa who is my third top rated and could be hard to catch. Second top rated is Hitchens, who will be held up or track the pace setter. Top rated is REX IMPERATOR 10/1 who ran a decent race last time out when it finished second, so could be worth an each way bet but I wouldn't be going in too big with my stake.

8:00 Windsor - Four possible pace makers here: Colonel Mak, B Fifty Two (who I don't think are quick enough), Huntsman Close, third on my ratings so must have a fair chance from being at the front of the field, but my top rated is CRUISE TOTHELIMIT. It likes to lead so 11/2 looks a fair price. Clear Spring is my second top rated and usually tracks the leaders.

SUMMARY: 3:05 Chepstow - TWO TRUTLE DOVES 5/1 looks a decent bet. 7:15 Carlisle: HEAD SPACE 11/1 small each way bet. 7:30 Windsor - REX IMPERATOR 10/1 a reasonable each way bet but not too heavily. 8:00 Windsor - CRUISE TOTHELIMIT 11/2 a reasonable bet, but again not too big.
