3:25 Bath - A more manageable field of nine - four of them known to lead. Of these, Dawn Catcher is my fourth top rated. Top rated SILVERRICA 8/1 can also lead, so as long as they don't cut each others throats (and set it up for hold-up types) hold fair claims.
4:45 Chester - Eleven runners, six of them have been known to lead, so it may be set up for a hold-up type. Of the possible front runners, Tyfos is my third top rated; Monumental lad is second top. Top ranked *HEAD SPACE 11/1 can either track the leaders or be held-up so could prosper if they go too fast. It's a fairly tight handicap so keep stakes small. *NR
9:10 Wolverhampton - It's still a bit early to evaluate the going since they re-laid the course. Recently, times are definitely faster but I advise keeping stakes on the low side. The only known pace setter is Native Falls - but this one isn't in my top three. I've got joint second top ratings: Dominimum, a hold-up type, and Whipphound, who can track the pace. Top rated is *POINT NORTH 10/1 and it likes to chase the leaders. *NR
SUMMARY: Saturdays are typically hard to find winners, so, as usual, it's a day to keep the stakes small. The more I look at each race the muddier the waters. Good luck.
