3:20 Lingfield Racing Tips (23rd September) 188BET HANDICAP (CLASS 6) (3yo+ 0-60)

There are ten runners with three horses that have led before: College Doll, Johnny Splash and Mossgo. The latter hasn't won since 2012 and has been in poor form but would be a danger if it did spring back to form. Johnny Splash is fairly consistent but doesn't win that often and if it got an easy lead could be a danger. The same comments apply to College Doll. Spider Lily, a three-year-old is the 6/4 favourite, and I have got it marked down as a hidden danger, it has been in form and won its last three races at the distance on good to firm going. If it transfers that form to the all-weather would be at least a threat but the selection is an each way shout in the favour of SYLVAN SPIRIT 14/1 who is a three-year-old and could have some improvement to come but it is an open race and although I think the selection is overpriced and maybe the value call. I wouldn't be betting very heavily.

3:45 Beverley - A tricky class three conditions race and strictly on the ratings KINGSGATE NATIVE 9/4 deserves to be the favourite. The danger according to the betting is the three year-old-Green Door but I would be more in favour of looking at Noble Storm being the danger and on my figures theres only one spot between them.

4:35 Nottingham - Eleven runners and eight of them have been known to lead before so it could be a fast run race and could set it up to a hold up type. Those that like to lead may prove best include Swendab, my third best, and Monumental Man, who is my second top rated. I've got it very close between my top three but have got them a bit clear of the rest. The one who is top of my list is WHITECREST 12/1 but this isn't the first time he had a good chance of winning but hasn't been very consistent recently but could win if he runs to its best but a I should think you've gathered it looks a trappy race and stakes should be kept to a low level.

Sylvan Spirit 20/1 3rd
Kingsgate Native 9/4 1st
Whitecrest 20/1 7th
