8:40 Wolverhampton Racing Tips (4th September) Mey Blossom Looks Good At 7/1

Firstly, I've got to say I'm not completely sure of the new surface yet, it needs time to settle so although I'm putting up a selection I would recommend keeping the stake to a low level Eleven runners, with two possible pace setters in Chapellerie, who is my fifth top rated, and Hit The Lights, who has only shown poor form on the all weather. Hazard Warning is my third top rated and is a hold-up type. Second top is Avonvalley, another hold-up type but it has been out of form for quite a while now. MEY BLOSSOM 7/1 [pictured] is the selection and has been running fairly well lately and can be held up or track the leaders and is well berthed in stall two to get a good early position. A small each-way bet has to be the suggestion.

A good selection Eric, backed this myself today, been watching it lately and did not get the best of passages last time at Beverley, did get a clear run today and just missed out on the first prize. I think there is a race to be won with this horse off the current mark of 56 and I think a stiff 5f turf track could suit.

Thanks for your comment, Andy. Always great to hear your perspective. I'm pretty sure Eric would agree with your thoughts and could Mey Blossom could well feature among his tips in the next few weeks.

Kind regards,
